he's off to a really good start. He's a bit of a plodder though. Reminds me of Antonio Davis. He plays with a lot of heart.

I think with what is going on I am going to stick with Gallinari for now. He's got too many hard to find skills and I am willing to be patient to see what his upside. Spieghts is a good player and represents a huge need for us right now but I am not looking at right now.

I'll pass

It is easier to find a 6'10" power forward than to find 6'10" skilled player. I too will pass.

Thew point is the management is saying that Gallinari is supposed to be some kind of franchise type talent and I submit he is not as good as many of his contemporaries he was drafted with let alone other various NBA players. I don't see much difference between Ryan Andersen and gallinari. This is no knock on Gallinari but rather the people who run the Knicks. I am very very concerned how we are playing and what is going on with every part of this organization right now as a fan--and we have all endured a lot of bad times. I think our management has to keep an open eye to what we have and not over rate it anymore.

We seem very accepting of being 1-8 and Donnie Walsh only answer is 2010. At 1-8 I want to see Jordan Hill play 25 minutes--I want to see if we can move vet players for picks--this season is over--think about it--do we have the capability of playing .500 ball for the next 73 games---I havent seen it--so at 7 under with honestly no chance of playing 500 ball let alone above it--then do something.

imho, gallo needs to lose weight. asking him to be a PF is dumb. the guy needs to lose weight and play the 3. he looked too lumbering out there.

he added muscle mass but not strength. Not worried, it'll be another year or 2 before that settles with his body.

It depends on who you ask Briggs. Gallo has a chance to be Rocky in NYC according to dantoni, he says why not give it a shot(he's the best shooter I have ever seen in my life) .
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

I like Gallo's fire. I keep the Italian Stallion...Douglas is ice...Gallo is fire. I want and need both.

Donnie's free pass is looking a little tattered right now. Like I've been saying, he underestimated the intensity of the NY media/fans when you put a product like this on the floor.

When we're setting records for ineptitude down the road another month from now, the press will not care that 2010 is coming up. They will not care. They will start digging up everything that Walsh has done wrong and laying out a case for him to be removed just like they did with Layden, LB and Isiah.

You cannot do this in NYC. Its not about patience. Its about the resources all the NY teams have and the expectation that our teams should not embarrass us no matter what.

Walsh left this team without players to perform basic basketball positional skills. We don't have a SG. This is the NBA. We don't have a freaking shooting guard. Our point guards are horrific in terms of initiating the offense, and the system is predicated on exactly that. Its really amazing. There were plenty of shooting guards and points available in the draft. Just ridiculous that he went with a forward. I know he's looking for an Amare clone, but Hill is not Amare. Sign Stromile Swift off the street for a year for god's sake. The backcourt should have been a priority.

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

come july 9th, 2010 when lebron signs with the knicks, anything and everything prior to that date will be forgotten as if it never existed. so he will get a pass until that day.

DW doesnt care what fans think and nor should he. Most good GMs done.

He has set this roster up to sign two max earners this summer. After that he can use his expiring contracts to add good role players (JJ and or Curry whoever is left).

He's going to get a couple big guns in here. The question is will we be happy with who signs? I mean Lebron and Bosh sounds great! Joe Johnson and Michael Redd not so much.

Time will tell but like it or not that is the plan. We will also have a pretty good idea how he did with Gallo, Douglas and Hill by the end of the year. We dont know now.

We just drafted Hill to do what Speights does. Unless you are convinced Hill can't get the job done, why would you make this trade. I like SPeights and think he is going to be a solid PF for years to come, but Hill might be able to do the same thing if given time to develop. Hill has shown me enough to think he warrants another year before I make any judgments as to his longterm potential.

I really don't know what Donnie is setting up here, honestly. I keep hearing this bull****. But right I think he has made two terrible draft selection considering the talent was there, a bad signing in Duhon at way to much money, an awful mistake in not moving jefferies and we essentially have 3 players that are more suited to play the 4 in Gallo/Chandler/Hill.

I'm on board with Ryan Anderson comparion he is more athletic than Gallo who is a spot up shooter who can occasionally put the ball on the floor.

But you can't make that trade at this point.
