Why Can't Jordan Hill Get Some Run

I am at a loss as to why MDA does not play this kid. Al Horton was taking Lee's lunch money, stole his girlfriend, and pretty much did anything else he wanted to Lee. We drafted Hill to matchup with the Al Horton's of the NBA. Why not put the kid out there and see what he could do. I guarantee you he would have matched up better than Lee. Why is Jared "worst hands in the NBA" Jeffries getting major minutes while our PF of the future is nailed to the bench. It is not like we are winning anyway. The fans could take losing if Hill, Gallo, and Douglas are developing. FREE JORDAN HILL!!!

This is called showcasing scrubs in case someone would trade for them.
If we didn't need to trade Jeffries, he wouldn't play a minute.

you sure about that? I think MDA actually likes Jeffries as a player.

Yep, i agree. They're showcasing Jeffries in case a playoff wanted to add him for his so-called defense.

If we can trade away Jeffries, we'll have a better chance signing 2 stars come next season.

Play the kid, screw the glueman with the oily hands. He can shoot better, he could block a shot or two, why the f not?

Like Breen said. Teams know who Jefferies is and that is not going to change with a few minutes out there. Maybe we can do that James for Jefferies deal since the Wizards are off to a rough start.

This kid has to play I don't care if he isn't ready. This is the worst bunch of talent I have seem in a long time. No one knows how to play the game.

Give him 15 minutes.

I definitely think that they are showcasing Fishlips. Similar to what they did with ZBo and Jamal last year. Everyone knew what those 2 yahoos brought to the table but MDA raised their value and Walsh was able to trade them in the trading deadline. The problem is that ZBo and Jamal actually has talent. Showcasing Fishlips is like squeezing water out of a rock.

They are basically trying to get Jefferies out of town by giving him some PT over Hill.

It's obvious Hill (even at this point in his development) would have a more significant impact than Jefferies but the Knicks are trying to get someone to bit on Jefferies.

d'antoni likes jeffries as a player. pretty much the only time we see d'antoni coach defensive strategy is when he decides to throw jeffries on the other team's best scorer, regardless of position. that's it.

I think both Hill and Douglas have progressed since SL. Hill looks much more in shape and active. You think Lee is doing a better job defensively than Hill could have done. Hill has another inch, longer arms, and probably a little more strength than Lee.

Exactly, we would raise JJ's value more by sitting him on the bench. He actually played decent the first two games. MDA should have cut his minutes then and at least it would have looked like you were sitting him to give the rookies a chance as opposed to sitting him because he sucks. Sit Jeffries and play Hill.

certainly is valid--just think he deserves a shot before he's crucified. He's still relatively new to the game and did have bright spots in college

well, unfortunately jeffries is probably our best post defender which isnt good. but it is what it is. there is no question that he is showcasing jeffries and when curry comes back, he will get serious burn also. but after the trade deadline, you will see a lot more of hill.

I think they're bringing Hill along slowly. He had a bad summer league and a pretty bad pre-season. He seems more comfortable when he's out there and, as he shows the coaches more, I think he'll get more pt.
