He was also matched up against Jennings, and I did not see him look terrible in that matchup.

Last night was a good game to get his confidence moving in the right direction. I also think that if his outside shot is going down other aspects of his game will benefit, as he will be able to get to the basket more for pull-up Js, shots off the drive and dishing.

I've noticed that Douglas is going to be a bench player throughout his career.

a little segue from the Lebron parade...didn't see much mention of it in the blowout. Delonte West was so pissed becaue TD played tough defense on him that at one point he threw the ball at Toney and got t'd up

From Hahn:

With 6:02 left in the fourth quarter, as the Knicks were making a late spirited run (read: making the score respectable) against the Cavaliers, Toney Douglas was called for a foul while playing some tenacious defense against Delonte West.

After the whistle, West, who has plenty of issues on his mind right now, threw the ball at Douglas, was called for a technical foul and had some choice words for the Knicks rookie. Choice enough that Douglas wouldn't repeat them after the game.

"No comment," he said. "I'm not looking for any drama."

Whatever West did say, LeBron James felt compelled to go over to Douglas, who went to the bench after the foul.

"He just said to keep my head up," Douglas said. "That I'm all right."

That's about it. If you can pick up a decent bench player at the end of the 1st round, that's not too bad. There's nothing happening to make anyone think he can be more than that.

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

At this point there is no reason Nate or TD should NOT be our starting PG. Duhon is straight trash... seriously.

Nor anything that says he can't be your next leader either. I will admit you may be right...but you will not admit that I may be right. I base my assumptions on watching the man play for 3 years and knowing some of what this person is about. On what do you base your claims? A few Summer league games? a few pre-season games? What is the basis for your claims JohnWallace44? Are you a talent scout for the NBA? Any credentials? Frankly your just bad noise I believe like static on the radio.

Yeah...TD will eventually reach his "New York state of mind" but c'mon now..he's just a rook at present...he'll get there.

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.
