Sprewell and the Knicks have met once already, a 97-92 Knicks victory Nov. 26 in which Sprewell scored just five points, but that was in Minneapolis.
Sprewell made no promises about what he'd do tonight.

"It depends on how we're going," he said. "That's all I can say."

This guy scored 5 points in a home game for minny, Mutumbo will scare him in the paint again andour 2 guard (ALLAN HOUSTON) busted his azz at crunch time shutting up all his Flaky moral support in NY. Anybody wanted bet NY DOES HIM IN AGAIN TONIGHT? KVH AND DICE WILL BE HERE THIS TIME!!!!

And you really don't know basketball, you guys are so dupped you would think spree is Jordan in his initial comeback. Sprewell is about as streaky as your undershorts after eating spicy chili.He isn't all that I have seen some of his games and his body doesn't allow him to do some of the things he used to do "consistantly"

KVH is not that good but neither is Spree. I dont expect him to drop 50 points tonite. If anything, he will have a hard played game but he seems to do better when everyone is rooting harshly against him and when he steps out tonite he will hear nothing but cheers. I dont expect a big game from him. Something like 20pts, 4rebs and 4assts.

I want to give a vote of confidence to playa2. The blind faith he posts with is annoying but I cannot say he is "jumping ship". He might not be critical but he is still cheering for the knicks. He is not a bandwagon fan rooting for the Freaking NETS all of a sudden. He tried to make light out of a bad situation which is cool with me.

If I ever have to go watch a game, I want someone like playa sitting in my section cheering the crowd on hard NO MATTER WHAT. His blind faith gets me pissed too but he is allright with me cause he is a Die Hard! I know i'm going to get ripped to shreds about this by HardCore and GoNyGoNy but for now, go on with ur posts playa2. You are fearlessly taking on this entire board.

P.S: I wanted to say this for a long time so I hope u fellas dont completely destroy me.

Very good point. Now that I think about it, there's no need to go hard on Playa. If you don't agree with what he says taken with a grain of salt. Every Fan is different. Some fans just like watching their team, whether they stink or not.

you guys are knick fans with short memory. what happens when spree used to go to golden state when he was a knick? he gets fire in his eyes and light them up. now he comes back to the garden with dolan sitting baseline to hear the verbal assualt that spree will unleash. he CAN score 50 points if he wants to becuase he has that ability even though he is 33. but i see him scoring 30 points and going off in the fourth quarter. recently it looked like he was drinking from the fountain of youth doing baseline dunks and running the fast break. it will be a roller coaster ride that i envy those who have msg to watch such a spectacle.

Latrell sprewell some have forgotten so easily, 'STUNK UP THE JOINT against the knicks and LOST the game. His followers were silent after the game when the million dollar man(Allan Houston) busted him up for game winning shot. He won't go off tonight The knicks players won't let him. Remember the guy is streaky, he gets points against unfamiliar foes, but the knicks players know him quite well. Dikembe in the paint make sprewell shake in his sneaks. Why do you guys think this guy has changed? Don't you know we as a team have to impress Zeke tonight? This is a must see game , the garden will be rocking and "true playas" will step up. KVH and Dice GET A PIECE OF THE "Real Cancer" MEWELL. FRANKK DO Cassell for me tonight . GO KNICKS.

We have known, Playa for several years now through this forum and the old Daily News Forum. Playa changes his tune all the time. He hated JVG and still does. He has always said Layden AND Chaney would turn this around,especially with JVG gone (he thought it was JVG holding the KNicks back). He has said numerous times that Chaney's motion offense would ignite the Garden. He has supported all the Layden moves and unbalanced roster for years.


When playa makes sense, I agree with him, when he talks his "in the know" BS, I challenge him. Often he fails to respond. Like earlier this year when I asked him how much time he was willing to give the Layden Chaney regime? He never answered, as usual when you try and get Playa to state his real position. Well, we saw what Dolan's answer was. Now we will see what Isiah thinks of Chaney. My guess is Chaney will be gone by the end of January. I have no faith in him. He is overmatched.

If others want to back, Playa that is fine with me. You will see, in time also.

this is a whole different scenario though. He's at the garden now. This is the date he had circle on this calender. He may miss all his shots but he's gonna play like a mad man. And if we're lucky he spots Dolan and chokes him

Dude come on! KVH and Dice? They will get eaten up by KG! No one can guard KG especially KVH and Dice and cassell will do a serious number on Frank. Just when I say, "i got ur back" u gotta diss spree and say that stuff!

Tell me what happen to spree when the home crowd was behind him and he froze up like a tongue in a freezer, in other words he couldn't sac up and destroy his former team without KVH and Dice. who cares about Spree? I'm just glad we got a GREAT player in KVH. A real leader on the floor that pushes other players to play hard. A guy thats always taking the clutch shots late in games. A big player with great ball handling skills that gets others involved. Most of I'm glad the Spree trade gave us player with a longer contract, that will add stability to the organization for years to come.

Playa get a clue. Just look at the stats. Spree is better across the board this year. Look at the records, whatever ones you want, last year Knicks vs. this year Knicks or Knicks vs. Wolves (yeah yeah unfair). You say Spree is streaky, but Van Horn is even worse, he scores 2 in one game and scores 20 2 games later. Plus his contract is longer, he can't play d, and until the last game his outside shot was not to be found. Oh yeah, he is shooting worse then Spree from everywhere on the court too. And he gets blocked almost as many times a game as Fatspoon (another one of your touted talents, back in the day when Laydumb was your boy). I’ve been reading this board for the past few years and you haven’t' posted anything right ever, just keep blindly rooting for whatever crap we have on the team. That is not being a diehard fan, you root for the logo on the jersey not the bums who ware it. That is just being stupid. I was not going to attack playa personally but I just can't stand his stupidity any more. Sorry for the rant.
