I don't know man. What's wrong with this guy?? LMAO! You figure that after the off-season he just had where no other NBA team out there showed any interest in him along with the suspended license arrest & the embarrassing twitter situation that this guy would be humbled, look to lay low, be thankful that Donnie even brought him back for a raise and concentrate on playing ball and helping this team win. Instead he's still got other things on his mind apparently. Now we read in today's Newsday that "Sirius Satellite Radio is currently in discussions about having Nate Robinson host his own show." I mean does this dude even have an agent?? How would an adult show like that even cater to the young crowd that supposedly buys the bulk of his jerseys? What's he gonna be talking about, how terrible the refs are on his friggin' radio show now that D'Antoni told him to cut the chatter on the court and cut his Ts in half this year? So now he's gonna take his act to the airwaves?? Come on. Nobody cares Nate. Win something or do something substantial with your career then you can talk about going Hollywood. Hey Nate, take a cue from Gilbert Arenas -- I just heard Arenas on NBA TV the other day talking about how "Agent Zero is dead," no doubt in reference to the controversial blog he kept at one point, and how he's just focused on taking his workouts seriously and getting himself 100% ready to help the Wizards win. Arenas finally gets it. Nobody cares about any of this other stuff unless you're a winner...

This is true, you can get away with more stuff if you are a winner. Nate is a loose cannon, nothing has changed,t his is proof. Did you read that thing about the pool dives he was doing?? What the heck.

So what if the guy is getting another paycheck? Also for your information, Nate did not make himself available to other teams because he wanted to remain a Knick. So he may be an ass but you can't knock the guy because he's having a radio show.

Yeah, jumping off the diving board with Curry in the pool right? I think one of the coaches told him to knock it off before he did anything stupid and possibly hurt himself. I bet that would've been pretty funny but point taken big O. I like his talent and I'm glad he's back but he needs to grow up. He talks about the Knicks being the only team he wanted to play for. Easy to say that when they were the only NBA team out there that showed any interest and offer you a contract. Not a big deal I guess but as a fan of this team, there are more important things I'd like him to be concentrating on. I just want to eventually see a 100% committment from this guy. Doesn't look like we're there yet..

it's just another distraction for a player that has way too many, and i doubt if he did not make him self available but maybe its more that no one was interested.

Nate is a schmuck. Diving into the end of the pool with a 300 pound man and a trainer rehabbing from an injury? Seriously? This guys has a shelf life of about 5 years in the NBA if he keeps that tihs up.

Another paycheck? Come on bud. This guy just got a substantial 1-yr. raise by his employer, who he'll no doubt turn around and embarrass the **** out of now if he goes ahead with this radio show and on an adult-themed, no-holds-barred pay channel no less where you can say whatever you want... Is he struggling to put food on the table for his family? You're making it sound like he needs to hustle an extra job to keep the heat on... He wants to go on the radio, he doesn't need to. Not at this point in his career anyway... Think about it - does he really need to go on the radio right now? Is that really the right move for him at this time? I don't think so. Take Shaq for example -- all of his antics are pretty funny and much easier to swallow than Nate's. As far as I'm concerned Shaq can do or say whatever the hell he wants -- he's won multiple CHAMPIONSHIPS for 3 different teams. Nate's not on that level yet and that type of stuff shouldn't even be on his mind right now IMHO. That's all I'm saying..

Nate wanted to be a knick because nobody offered him a contract execpt for the Greek team. Nate should not live overseas.

As far as his radio show, the question is for me: "is he really that interesting?"

Nate is a great athlete who does amazing things. Winning has not been in his mix, but thats not all on him.

As far as radio, what does Nate really have to say thats interesting or even funny?

I hope the guy does well and turns into a star but I only care about him as a basketball player, not the clown like ways he carries himself.

just the opposite, i think we all would love to love the guy but his antics are not becoming of a professional sportsman.

What antics? He's getting a satellite radio show. Plenty of athletes and entertainers are doing it.

These breathless, overreactions over every move he makes are becoming all too predictable.

Because he's a grown ass man who acts like he's 12. He's in the NBA, not a side show at Barnum an Bailey. He needs to grow the F up, both on and off the court. Stop acting like a clown and maybe more people will respect you.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Is there any middle ground with ya'll?

Just because duke hasnt been the model of perfection all you haters froth at the mouth whenever you talk about him.

Im sure the fanbase of whatever organization he signs with after this year will be more appreciative and less judgmental.

Not all people can grow up.
Some remain child happy all their life. I am jealous in fact.
As per him as a Knick I am not concerned. If he will do what wants he will play.
If not - he will sit on the end of the bench.

I agree sebstar. I think that people tend to overanalyze things like this. A lot of people tend to react to Nate, the way fans tend to react to A-Rod. The smallest things are horrible. Big whop he has a radio show. Last I heard, it's a good thing, and he played well today, so it obviously doesn't affect anything.

As long as he's playing well on the court, or up to his capabilities, I don't see why people should care.

We're off point now-- the whole thing is that this sirius thing is the latest in a string of questionable things nate has done, THAT is why this is frowned upon. If he didn't have a history of acting like a child then this sirius thing would not be a big deal.

We have to remember that these players are 'overanalyzed' like this because they bring it on themselves with their consistent questionable behaviors, it's a pattern.

So let's not fall into the trap that all the Marbury apologists fell into, let's look at the bigger picture.

Yeah. Definitely, Allan. I mean, if the show proves to be a distraction and is dividing his resources too much then we can address that when the time comes. But why are people trying to act like he's clubbing infants over the head with billy clubs because of a radio show?

So now Nate is Marbury now?

This thread just illustrates that alot of you cats cant let things go and you've got your mind made up in every situation whenever Nate is involved.

Biased and judgmental as hell.
