24 years old

Seven feet tall

Build on his Experience

Rebuild his Confidence

Celebrate Fatherhood

“I dreamed to be part of the New York Knicks at the beginning of my career," he said. "I think every player wants to be part of the New York Knicks. This is a big organization, a big team, and I love New York. I’m glad to be here.”

But before he could get here, Milicic had a very busy offseason in Serbia. Not only did the 24-year-old get married, but he and his wife, Zorana, celebrated the birth of their first child. “I still had time to workout,” he said. Milicic and his family arrived in New York last Friday.

“You see his potential,” D’Antoni said. “He’s in a good spot because he just got married, he just had a kid, he’s 24, he speaks great English now and he’s comfortable in America. Sometimes you get guys right at the right moment.”

Who is Dr John?
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

I'm a Darko fan. I think the dude can play. Hopefully it can finally translate into the nba game. Hes not soft and he loves to play. He can definately block shots....he also can pass, post up, drive and finish. He can shoot as expected from euro talent.

I'm not expecting him to "potentially to be better than lebron" like they said about him before the draft. I am expecting a legit nba starter that can stick with this franchise producing for years to come.

I hope darko wants to shove up the ass of all that doubted him and have a career year.

He is motivated and an unrestricted FA.

He wants to butt phuch every teams salary cap!

Nalod - your (cough) colorful usage could relate to a personal sexual conundrum that is best discussed someplace else.

With that said, as Michael Irvin once told a Cowboys beat writer, "don't lose the intensity...."

Darko should adopt the playing personality of Chris Dudley to become an instant MSG fan favorite

All Darko needs is one signature move to develop into a perfect compliment for the D'Antoni system of offense

The model is that of one of The Answer Man's favorite (and most versatile) big men of all time

The only hope for Darko is if let's him be what he is, a high post player... he's never going to be an All Star talent though. Maybe a shotblocking Michael Doleac or something

What I learned from this thread is Darko's wife is named Zorana. Wasn't that one of the Thundercats Eny?
If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.

I'm skeptical. He has the size and he does have some skill. But he's been in the league a long time and hasn't done much. The best I can say about him is that he's a pretty good backup.
