I made this topic for the 2009 Knicks Media Day session. Post all your pictures, videos, articles and whatever else that pertains to media day in here. It would make it more simpler. Nothing really amazing to look forward to this year as we don't really have many new additions but we can see how some people look and hear some interviews. I guess the biggest questions to the players and of the season tomorrow will be:

1. Is Danilo Gallinari finally healthy and is he ready to play meaningful NBA minutes? We will have to find out.

2. Eddy Curry lost 40 pounds and is now 317 lbs. That means he was about 360 pounds in the offseason. 317 is still sad. Pathetic and despicable. To me, this guy is a failure in every aspect. I don't care if he's 200 lbs, he never had such amazing talent that people say. He's a very low IQ basketball player who used his fat to barrel over people in the post and score. I never liked him and never will. Him being healthy doesn't concern us. He shouldn't play if he can't help us win. He can be used as an expiring contract this summer with Jeffries to try and net us a good player. We're in no rush.

3. Will Darko Milicic do anything for the low post defense? I know he can block shots but that doesn't automatically mean he's a good defender. I guess it's better to have a shot blocker than none at all. Especially if you have Mr. Softy David Lee down there.

4. Will Jordan Hill and Toney Douglas ever play? I'll say most likely no, barring injury. And even then, I don't see D'Antoni giving either enough time.

5. Can Chris Duhon survive an entire season? I think he can and he can be a decent player if he's rested. You can't play him 48 minutes per game for Christ sake. I mean c'mon.

6. Are we going to see Larry Hughes bitch when he realizes he wont be playing? If he does, we should just release him.

7. Is Wilson Chandler going to grow and progress off his "sophomore" year or he will just remain the same or regress? Will he finally drive the ball more instead of settling for crappy jumpers? Will he work on his handles and his shooting? I hope so.

8. Al Harrington said he wanted to average 4 assists per game this season and stop his chucking. I like Al Harrington. He will never be as bad as Jamal Crawford and he actually tries on defense (sometimes) but right now I don't believe him when he says he'll get 4 assist a year. It's a contract year and he wants to inflate his stats. I think he'll be the same Al from last season.

9. Will D'Antoni stop playing Jared ****ing Jeffries every game? He sucks. Keep him out of the rotation. I'm not sure what obsession Mike has with this scrub but he's no good and if I see him playing in the rotation then I take it as a sign that D'Antoni wants to lose or is just an idiot.

10. And finally, will Sun Yue or Gabe Pruitt make the team? They're probably scrubs but I'm intrigued, especially by Yue. Kobe praised him a while back(I know it's not a big deal but still). D'Antoni seemed to rave about Yue too just a few days ago. The Lakers were stacked and a championship team. He didn't have time to develop. I like Yue. Even if he makes the team I doubt he will play but I think he has potential to be a decent player in this league in due time. He'll be 24 in November and only has been in the league for one year, barely playing.

So these are my 10 questions and comments about the upcoming season. I don't think we'll be much better than last year and I don't expect much for anyone either. If Gallinari can deliver then that makes this season very watchable. If not and I have to see everyone else like Nate and Al shooting bricks while Lee is playing Doorman in the paint for free layups then I will have to switch the channel sometimes. Here's to hoping that the new additions will help the team and that some of the team mentality has changed. We need to turn over a new leaf in this pivotal season before 2010.

No Marbury, Crawford, Zach and Jerome for this year's media day. That feels really good. No more negativity surrounding us. That's the best thing about today.

A. ANY regular season minutes for The Baby Rooster are meaningful. Minutes in May will be absolutely sublime.

GkfV2 - Eddy Curry lost 40 pounds and is now 317 lbs.

Good for Eddy. Hopefully his pain and suffering over the domestic break in, home foreclosure, limo lawsuit and four year old son witnessing the murder of his Mother have been compartmentalized enough for him to focus on putting a leather ball into a metal cylinder.

A.. Yes. The only pressing question surrounds his choice of hair color this season.

A. Yes.

A. Yes. But I also thought Johan Santana was indestructible. Hopefully Number 9 Sun will lighten his load of minutes.

Q. GkfV2 - Are we going to see Larry Hughes bitch when he realizes he wont be playing?

A. Larry Hughes is benched until he gets a respectable uniform number

Q. GkfV2 - Is Wilson Chandler going to grow and progress off his "sophomore" year or he will just remain the same or regress?

A. Book it. The Mayor goes for 19 and 11. You heard it here first.

A. Cassius Clay said he would knock out Archie Moore in four. Damn if he didn't do it.

11 what? It's a reach but I'd believe he scores 19 per game way before I believe he sniffs even 9 of anything else, nevermind 11.

My money is on my man Sun Yue! Just cuz he's actually got talent and unique skills for a guy his size. You have to believe MDA is salivating at the possibilities of having a player with his skills playing in this system. A point forward off the bench might come in handy down the line.

I hope Chan is also 100%. We need him and Gallo to be able to go hard this yr. If those two can really play with much more confidence we'll be in great shape.
