It looks like it's finally time to trade Krazy Kurt. This will enable Dice to start and Kurt's trade value is high. Two potential trading partners are on TV tonight - Dallas and Seattle. The Dallas deal would be Kurt and Ward for Jamison, but I would rather throw in Eisely instead of Ward (#1337519). The thing about Jamison is that that he has 4 more years after this year, but he is a young player. The Knicks could send Kurt and Frank Williams to Seattle for Vlad Radmonivic and Jerome James (#1337524) I hate giving up Williams but if we do the Seattle trade then we can turn round and send Van Horn, Doleac, and Howard Eisley to Portaland for Rasheed Wallace and Jeff McKinnis (a deal I had mentioned before and which checked out on RealGM.com)

Im sure Portland wants fiscal restraint and will let Rahsheed walk, unless they can get kenyan.

I agree with getting jamison. We can give them dice straight up, or Kurt and Ward (ward can get bought out right away). Then we let Dice walk at years end.

WE must open roster spots for the rookies!

I dont want Antwan Jamison for a few reason
1) Jamison is actually a SF. I want someone that can play post up and rebound hardcore. Jamison doesn't create his own shot or draw double teams most of the time
2) he has 4 years on his contract left. Too much money
3) its not absolutely certain McDyess is leaving.
4) I dont think Dallas will take Eisely

If You want to consider the other trade, we are giving up better players for Jerome and Vladimir.

I want to keep this same team for the next coach to work with. I think this is a good roster and shouldn't be tinkered with as far as possible. Shandon Anderson, Othella, Eisely and Fatspoon are definately the first to go ut no one will take them.

Hey,if Dallas gets banged up by the Lakers and take an "L".Then they should soon be be on there way lookin for inside help.Guys that like to play hard "D" and bang.Thomas n W-Spoon would fit perfect.Adding Wallace for them it wont work cuz that means he wants part of the offence. To many scorers there already.Thomas n Spoon for Jamison. Then maybe shipping Jamison or KVH,Doleac,Ward for Wallace.i would prefer to stay wit KVH cuz he does go for the rebs.something like that

I'd keep KT & FWill, and do the deal for Rasheed. Then all we gotta do is trade Spoon and Othella. As for the Antawn Jamison deal, I'd do it if Dallas had a mental lapse and pull the trigger on it.

That would be a nicely improved team for the next coach of the Knicks.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

No way on Rasheed in NY. He is an a**hole. He is the bad apple that makes all the apples go bad. Rasheed should go to a team that already has a strong outspoken leadership in the lockers. The knicks have no strong leadership in place. Rasheed will come in and take over. He will ruin the knicks even more.

Just consider this same roster under a different coach. This is not that bad a team. It would be fine if the right combination of players was put on the court. They need a different coach thats all. Don't trade good players especially Kurt. McDyess' knees need insurance.

The thing about Rasheed is that his contact is up after this season. So we'll give him until the end of the season and if he's not right for the team then the KNicks can let him go and free up cap space. It's a win/win situation.

Sounds good to me. But he has to be judged on not only the record but also his behavior and the effect he having on the team and his influence on the teammates.

I dont want to sound like a bum but I saw Rod Strickland destroy way too many teams with his, "I dont care attitude" and thats not as bad as Rasheed's "F*ck you all" attitude.

I say bring sheed here..... he can start at center, or if dyss knees dont make it, he can take the PF spot..... by next year... sweetney, and lampe should be progressing better, so we can afford to let him go if he does not fit in....

KT should have been traded way back in 2001! The guy is a bench player , who thinks he's an allstar in the East. His mentality is that of a child and he doesn't respect authority. Divorced his wife last year after (allegedly) hitting her while baby was in her arms. Anybody wanna say...... Head Case

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Thank God. I never did like KT as a starter and he would be a good role player on let's say Dallas. They need another big body(tough guy). Nellie will be on him though. KT for Finely is what I would like to see and some other players added in the mix. I would love to see Rasheed in a Knick uni. If that happens, let a true rebuilding begin. Layden may stay as GM if he pulls that off.

Rasheed is unwilling to be a "yes" man, and isn't the docile, "yassaboss" lapdog-type player Dolan and LayDown want. If Dolan (surprisingly) lets it happen, I seriously doubt LayDown will be there too.

Sheed is more outspoken the Spree. He'd step to Dolan and drop his name just as eassy an he did with Dave Stern.

Did anyone read the Oregonian article from Thursday? The man is not afraid to speak his mind.

Sheed better learn what side of the bread the butter's on or he'll be joining JR Rider in the "where are they now?" file. Hope he's investing his money wisely.

He certainly won't be a Knick. Whoever takes this guy on their payroll will have to be desperate. There are much better PF's in the league who don't cause PR problems.

Absolutely! It's not like Rasheed can win you a championship! He cannot. He had a great chance with the Lakers down 15 and the whole team chocked! Rasheed is a bitch. I remember him throwing a towel at Sabonis (HIS OWN TEAMMATE) but will never get in Duncan or Shaq's face like KG or Barkley.

Not only is he a trouble maker and a bad bad team mate, he is now insulting ownership and the commish. He's going to be sitting next to like DefandReb said ISIAH RIDER!

well the knicks aren't going after 'Sheed 'cause he's not Dolan friendly.

But the Kurt for Antawn Jamison deal would be another example of Mark Cuban raping another team in a trade. Jamison can't guard a man at a phone booth. And the last thing the Knicks need is another power forward. If your going to trade Kurt, then get rid of one of the bad contracts (2 for 1 deal)or get a lottery pick in return. But Jamison is just not the answer.

also, if Kurt goes, then McDyess isn't going anywhere. Layden is going to resign him and knowing the Knicks, they'll bet the entire farm on him.
