Can we try not to be like RealGM?

I ask kindly that this new found trend cease. Seriously it's kind of, well, annoying. Not trying to be a dick here I'm just being honest. Seeing good threads derailed in that manner is frustrating. The Send Closking of 500 replies being quoted again and again is tough enough to sift through. Let's hope the new forum software limits that to say maybe 3 quoted responses.

there's a "Turn Images Off" button in the top left corner if you don't want the clutter

Well, this is just the exact type of garbage I was talking about. It's suddenly become frequent it's as if RealGM has infested this forum somehow over night.

I expected it in this thread, of course.

But when it's used in other threads to derail good convo it sucks.

Have fun....but it's really not all that funny.

And I will insult sendclosk when threads become 25 scrolled pages long because of continuous quoting. It's funny sometimes but when it's every thread it sucks to try to read it. Whenever I reply to a multiple quoted thread I usually remove all but the exact post I'm replying to.

Clutter sucks, but again, have fun....but it's not all that funny. It's just a pain in the ass.

Being a Knick fan is enough of a pain in the ass.

Doesn't really help the issue at hand. The issue is stupid nonsensical replies to posts. It just degrades the value of threads. It's funny once in a while. Yet when it becomes a common trend it's no longer funny.

Example: RealGM.

I like this place because it's NOT RealGM. It would suck if it continued in that general direction.

That would be nice, but I'm not talking about images in general, I'm talking about the need to reply to every thread with images now. You know, like the failblog stuff, or random gifs of people looking confused at one another, stuff of that nature. The thread that turned into the teddy bear nightmare when some are trying to have a conversation.

Sure, some of it is funny, but...when it's turning out to be every thread and reply, it kind of ruins things and defeats the purpose of even having a conversation in the first place.

I've said my peace I will move on....just wanted to throw it out there since it seemed to become a sudden trend that is popping up everywhere.
