Not an OT cuz this effects David Lee's situation....excuse me if this has been talked about already.

Trade is supposed to send Hinrich to Portland and tyrus thomas somewhere, lol....I'm just reading this on RealGM.

This has got to mean Milsap is gonna be re-signed in Utah....if Tyrus is going to Portland then they don't need Lee.

I dunno man what the hell? David is on the outside lookin in.

I think this tells you exactly how overrated David Lee is.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Man, I thought about the Bulls today as an avenue for Lee. I love that it helps the Knicks but I think many teams are selling Lee short at this point. Ty Thomas? I know you get Hinrich in the deal but if I have to pick between the two at their various positions I would take Lee.

Teams probably like Lee a lot--but can they get better value in terms of $$--and the answer seems to be no doubt about it. Maybe Lee should think about that 32mm the Knicks offered. I think Dolan would give Lee that 5th year or atleast partially guarantee it

Do you guys really want to keep Lee around? I mean players like Lee come and go all the time. I really hope the Knicks find a trade partner so they can get a draft picks in return or let him walk because next year he is off the books and it will return a FA in return so all is not lost. I don't see the point of giving Lee a contract, it doesn't benefit the Knicks in any way even if it is for 6 million I'd rather see what kind of FA not signing Lee would bring next year.

I'm waiting for David Lee's agent to make an announcement that there are now 20 teams interested in his client.

I know you don't really believe that...If Lee was already signed to a similiar contract and we could get Hinrich and Tyrus for Lee that is an incredible steal.

Vmart just said players at Lee s ta lent come and go. This off season provemd that. You can argue that every single player moved at the 4 position is in fact better than Lee. Obviously teams feel the same way. For one thing they all play better defense and that's including Zach.

This was the wrong time to try and strong arm teams and lie about teams intrest. Lee's agent screwed him.

Hinrich is ok. Nothing to go crazy about. I'm not a big fan of Ty Thomas, every year is suppose to be his coming out party. I agree about their defensive skills as a plus but I am not sold on those two. I don't know, I think Lee is being hurt by the fact that MDA had a year here and every other GM thinks his production offensively is strictly gimmick based. This could be a problem going forward with not just Lee but other guys in our system as far as trade value.

THe deal according to ESPN is Boozer to the Bulls, Hinrich to Portland, and Thomas to Utah. Since Boozer is better than Lee and Thomas is cheaper than Lee, I don't see how we could get into the deal.

I am just confused by what Pritchard is doing. Is he really going to sell Hinrich as the missing piece.

this will be the last time he has cap space so he feels like he has to make a move. imho, pritchard is going down the paxson path unless oden becomes a monster.

Yeah Oden is still the x-factor for that organization. They are walking a thin line.

Pritchard is doing a bad job. He shoulda packaged some of those spare wing guys for a veteran SF.

pritchard isn't doing a bad job...but he's dangerously close to not being able to take that last step forward...

I think he's doing a bad job - he's sat on that young talent for too long. The building blocks are already there in roy and aldridge. The problem is that much of the rest of the team is solid bench players, not starters. Use Bayless, Fernandez, Webster, Batum and Outlaw in trade packages, obviously you won't trade them all, but ideally you'll trade 2 of them, and get in solid players to pair with Roy and Aldridge. Hope Oden shows up one day, but until then you can get by with Joel P.

I dunno, I think he's sat on his ass too long.

LOL @ Okur re-signing for 2 yrs at 21 mil....Okur is better than Lee.(sound like a hater but I'm not...just stating the obvious and proving Lee is not worth 10-12 mil ...maybe not even 8-9 mil)

You guys are killing DLee, WOW! Look DLEE is still young and will only get better. If i were him, i either sign for the qualifying offer or sign for 7 to 8mill with the knicks.

Once the season starts, go out on a mission kicking every teams butt out there. Break records on the knicks like most consecutive doubles doubles in a season, grab like 35 boards in 1 game, make the all-star team as a reserve, get ya team unto .500 record and most of all, make the playoffs.

Teams will eventually realize they made a mistake not signing Lee.
The Future. GO KNICKS!
