Its not a big deal, Kidd was never going to come here. I don't know what kind of drugs Walsh and D'Antoni were taking to think that Kidd was going to take less money. Only moron players take less when they can get more (Artest).

Now we can offer Hill more than 1.9 mil, which we will need to if we want him as other better teams like Boston are offering their LLEs to him already.

If Money talks, then we should be able to get Hill since we can beat Boston's offer if we want to.

Hill can play three positions and knows how to win, would provide instant leadership and credibility. Why wouldn't we want that. And he can still play.

The idea of getting Hill is to make Chandler or Harrington expendable in a trade. Lets face it that is the only way the Knicks are going to get a franchise type PG to run MDA's offense via a trade.

Chandler is not expendable just because you rent Hill for a year or two.

Chandler is not expendable just because you rent Hill for a year or two.

Then why bother getting Hill? Locker room presence I don't buy into that. Getting Hill sets the Knicks up to make a trade. Regardless he is not coming here.

Kidd was a pipe dream for us so no biggie....

Knicks still need a point guard. Running outta proven guys. Miller, sesions and Bibby all seem out of our price range.

Jerryl Bayless is still a guy out there with some serious ball bustin talent....I'd gladly take him and Rudy Fernandez via trade with Portland.

It is like a broken record the way Dallas keeps destroying its future with Kidd. Trading him the first time was a mistake. Trading Harris, a first round pick and expiriing contracts to get him back was a mistake. Signing him for 8+ million a year until he is 39 is a mistake. When you consider that they locked up money on Gortat they are running their team like the Knicks during Isiah's tenure without the headcases. Kidd has become Dallas's ball and chain but I don't think they could let him go after the NJ trade.
