his family is here, he loves the city, felt stiffled in the Dal offense, loves MDA, and most likely still has 2 years left at a very high level. He's a draw for FAs and thats the goal isnt it?

I would say go for it. You might even be able to pawn off Duhon and JJ for Mike Miller after that.. who knows.

One thing is Curry would look great with all those easy dunks he's going to get from Kidd passes. Not sure I see the downside (aside from having to root for Kidd)

Yeah and that is like breaking the bank if Curry and Jefferies don't get moved. Not mention a resigned Lee, what about Nate? I guess maybe one FA in 2010. The Knicks are cutting it close.

If we sign Kidd, it'll be for a minimum of 3 yrs. Walsh must be confident of shifting either Jefferies or Curry. Tall order, but the Clips just managed to get rid of Randolph.
We suck.
