I couldn't tell you a thing about soccer, but I'm watching.

How does the game clock work. Its counting up as opposed to down.

Does it end at 60:00 ? Is there a halftime ?

There are 2 halfs. Each half is 45 minutes plus any injury time.

Right there are no clock stoppages so they add on time at the end of each half for the time the stoppages took up. Thats why it goes up instead of down.

US attack was agressive and effective early, but right now Brazil keeps on getting great chances in or near the box and it only seems like a matter of time till Brazil scores. Luckily Tim Howard is outstanding.

I once played some hoops with Tim Howard as a kid. Shot around with him for about an hour. I thought the guy would make it to the NBA, but I guess soccer is what he wanted to do.

That's cool...he ran into some issues mentally when he went to ManU, but he has the talent to be the best goalie in the world.

USA beating Spain and Brazil back to back would consitute might be the greatest upsets in soccer history. That would be beating 2 of the top teams in the world in a tournament where the National teams are bringing their top squad.

Watching this myself. What a great 1st half. It looks like the teams jerseys were switched or something.. I can't believe how well is defending and counter-attacking.

These Brazillian cats are pretty good- crazy goal by Fabiano in the first minute of the 2nd half and now the complexion of the game has changed
