I just heard we brought miny's 28th pick any truth to this and if so who do grab down there in what suppose to be a weak draft.

Where are you hearing that? Is it being reported anywhere online yet?

This is where you harvest euro's and wait for them to either mature, save money for a buyout, or save money to buy a vowel.

I'm all for us getting another pick, but in this weak-ass draft, I would MUCH rather see it be a higher pick than 28th.

Depends on what they would ask for it. Maybe they'd want more than money for it, unlike the #28th? Im sure the Knicks would try to get the #18 if it was available.

That's a positive. I don't think Lawson will last until 28 but a guy like Taj Gibson would be a nice pick in that spot, especially if we are looking to move Lee anywhere.

It may be a weak draft in terms of not much star talent on the top, but at the middle and bottom it evens out and you can grab solid talent so either way, get that second round pick, and if its only for money, as it should, even better.

Yup...from his twitter.

Knicks bought Minnesota's 28th pick. DW has 2 first rounders now...the plot thickens....

Does "weak draft" mean the picks in the late 1st round are substantially weaker than usual or does it usually mean simply that the early to mid lottery picks are weaker than usual? It's usually not specified but I suspect most analysts are focusing on what's available early in the lottery.

I would wait to see who is there. My guess is the Knicks take that 6-1 SG from Miami that looks like an upgrade from Roberson. He's been there like 3 times and can shoot the 3 ball--also couldve got him around 45 but whatever. If it was IT making the pick back there--I would have confidence because that was his thing.
