They are reporting in SportsCenter(Chad Ford and Rick Bucher) that the Celtics have offered Rondo and Jesus Shuttlesworth to Detroit.

On another note...Bucher claims Cleveland contacted NY for Eddy Curry. I just got a hard on. They are also talking to the Suns about Shaq.

probably total bs but if dumars took that trade, he would be able to sign 2 free agents this summer and still have space for a max free agent in 2010.

Rondo is awesome but that's just too much to give up for him. It should be Stuckey plus EITHER Rip or Prince.

LOL at in 2010 the Cavs having Eddy and us having Bron...

Donnie needs to do anything to make this happen. Move in with Ferry for a week, wear a skimpy french maid outfit and do all his chores. Anything!

there is no way Cleveland trades for Eddy Curry. not unless they want Lebron in a Knicks uniform. they might as well trade Lebron for Eddy if they do that. no way it happens. cleveland is stupid, but not that stupid.

Am I missing something? Stuckey is ok, Rip is on the way down, and Prince is a role player. I'm on this if I'm Dumars. But like Bonn said, this must really speak to Rondo's attitude.

I think our view of Eddy is so skewed from what other fans see Eddy that this might not be that far fetched. We see a fat and lazy player but another team that saw him once in awhile where he dominated them in the paint might be happy to get him for peanuts. They view Ben Wallace and Big Z as stiffs in Cleveland. They are probably saying something like "Give me Eddy Curry and Gallo's leg support for Ben Wallace or Big Zzzzz"

Eddy will probably be traded at the trading deadline or in November, once he has proven he is back as an athlete and a player. If he is working as hard as Donnie Walsh suggested and he is as motivated as he should to save his career, we might see an Eddy Curry closer to his '06 version, which was pretty solid. Even the '07 version will be an improvement that some team will want.

But right now its too improbable to think he will be traded because teams are still wondering if he will play b-ball again. But he will be traded once the season begins, so don't worry.
