After wowing Knicks management Wednesday, Stephen Curry isn't planning any more pre-draft workouts beyond one previously scheduled with the Washington Wizards, his father, Dell, said at a Bobcats workout Friday.

Yes, that's a clear indication Steph wants to be a Knick, and would prefer the seven teams drafting before New York pass over him. The Currys see Mike D'Antoni's up-tempo system as a great fit and whatever salary Steph would lose initially by lasting to No. 8, he'd make up several times over with the marketing opportunities New York represents.

Don't get the wrong idea; this process is still in the hands of the teams, not the player. But there's no doubt where Steph Curry wants to play.

Looks like he wants to be a Knick.. will he last?

I actually think we will end up with Curry and no draft day trades - this seems similar to the rumors last year about the rooster, granted there are other teams picking before us but nobody really seems to need Curry.

I can see 1 scenario where Washington and the Knicks swap picks and maybe Mobley, etc. If the Knicks really want Curry, no way can they let Twolves & GS have a shot at selecting him.

Can we send them Lee to and get back McGee?

Pick 5 Pecherov and Etan Thomas for Mobley 1.5 mm $ and pick 8 saves Washington 9 million dollars to swap 3 places down.
They could conceivably make another money deal or 8 for vet with pick 8.

Again IF Curry if not gone by 4.

Don't see Curry going in the top 5 unless LAC flips their pick and then takes Rubio, which would then mean SAC may think long and hard about Curry at the 4 spot. Grizz has Mayo, Conley with Mayo in the future for the 1 spot. And then Westbrook at the 1 for OKL with Durant and Green taking a ton of shots.

i'm glad we've finally established that Curry wants to play for the Knicks... i wasn't 100% positive when he said he wanted to play for the Knicks the other 50 times.

Maybe Charlotte gave him the guarantee. I mean, if he weren't in NYC, why wouldn't he want to play for his dad in Charlotte? If I were him, all money aside, those would be the two places I would want to be.

Charlotte's picking 12th... i don't see any way Curry falls that low... i think Donnie gave him a guarantee so he knows he's gonna be taken by #8 at the very least.

if its NY, he better have a ROY campaign with as much as he has talked up being here or he and W'altoni will get roasted in the papers and by the fans.

I agree with most here, if sac picks curry they would be (if not already) the laughing stock of the league.Having kmart and curry in the back court, well that's just dumb. Especially giving your complete lack of anything remotely close to a inside game. We don't have much ethier but I got my fingers cross that eddy comes back without zach and has a major impact.

If he wants to be a Knick so bad why is he working out for Washington? That doesnt tell me he wants to be a Knick that tells me he wants to be drafted as high as possible to whatever team takes him.

Yup, and the move from 5 to 8 for Washington is not dramatic for them- they will have a large group of nice prospects to look at.
