kapono for jeffries

d'antoni would get a shooter.

raptors would get a backup defensive big they can use for 15-20 mins a night.

Jeffries and Kapono have almost identical salaries. Not sure that's a move the Rap's would ever consider. You'd have to throw in something.

Comparing JJ to Holiday is a pretty weak take.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

That is actually a good move for both team. We get another shooter and they get a defensive stopper.

Not exactly if you look at the full term of their contracts - JJ is due around 12M, and Kapono around 6M. That's a net difference of approx. 6M

Who wants JJ especially in a straight up player for player deal and now he's becoming injury prone. I think this is a fantasy thread. Kapone is david lee on defense he hasn't got any idea how to defend or help defend anyone over 5ft.

jeffries makes 6.5 and 6.9 the next 2 years (he's not opting out in 10/11).
kapono makes 6.2 and 6.5 the next 2 years.

It's absolutely great how we're desperate to get rid of Jefferies. As soon as we start trying to trade him, we're calling him a defensive stopper, as if other teams believe that.
