This is a big road trip for us," Anderson said. "We need to come out of it with two or three wins. We're putting ourselves into a deep, deep hole. It's going to be a tough battle. Nobody expected us to [beat the Sixers]. But we won, and that's the same way we're going out on the road."

Does this sound like a Loser talking this way,or has his coach stuck with him by giving him the confidence to go out and earn his "MONEY"

It sounds like a player on a losing team that seems to show up to play against the tough teams and then gets schooled by the mediocre teams. To answer your question, NO Shanderson can't keep this level of play up.

Word, Oasis. Shandon's been showing "flashes" for years now... but the bulb never shines consistently. Problem is, he has NO SKILLS. He's very athletic, but can't dribble, pass or shoot. Now, that would be just fine if he were 3 inches taller. But when you're that close to the ground, you're expected to be able to handle the ball better. He's like a young Sprewel with no dribble.

I hope Anderson can continue to play like this -- I think it depends on the point guards. If they'll run and push the ball, I think Shandon can continue to do well.

Well, we will all see tonight if Anderson and the knicks play against philly was a fluke or not. I love how some have been silent on this forum after this game. Hardcore and his haterade cronies.

Playa-self, you never cease to amaze...

I went to the movies, chump. I figured I'd watch a horror movie at the theatre instead of at home on MSG. I was happy to see (on the replay) that it didn't turn out that way this time.

Does that win all of a sudden make me switch up like you always do? NO.

I stand by what I said at the start of the season. You oughtta give it a try sometime.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Tonight will be a good opportunity to see if these bench guys are for real since it looks like Houston will be out again.

Hardcore, don't get yourself worked up about that idiot. He does it on purpose. We are haterz because we watched a team win for 13 years in a row and now Chaney and Layden lead them into the cellar and we are supposed to accept it! The guy is a Horse's A$$! He makes no sense. If Chaney had any clue, NY would not be so inconsistent. They would have an identity.

I will believe in this team when I see it for a 10 game stetch.

I am not holding my breath!

Shandon Anderson is one of the worst players I have seen in my life! It doesn't help that he's going through a massive slump and one night doesn't change much. I'd love to see him win a bunch of games for us but it is not happening ever.

TRU is right, "when you're that close to the ground, you're expected to be able to handle the ball better."

This no talent ass clown should be sitting on the bench while Sweetney and Frank get more playing time! I would rather see some young players develop while we lose than watch Shandon and Howard prance around like fags.

And that is a fact he's a player that excels on transition, he never said he was a superior ball handler or jump shooter he is athletic slasher like a eddie robinson(not as much hops) and at least he doesn't make all that money and stays on injured list.

What game were you watching? I'd like to see him do something consistently. And if he's not a good ball handler, being a slasher doesn nothing! He has to hold on to the ball and slash cause you cannot keep feeding it to him to get him going!

It's one thing to have hope and another to lie to yourself. Don't tell me that you think Anderson making 8 million a year is worth his value! We are fans of the same team man and this is our forum. I appreciate your optimisim but this team is not going far. We need to develop the rookies not play bums like Shandon.

Hey, I wouldn't go so far as to say Shandon is a bum. He's the only person who can validate your inflated ticket price by impressing you with a fierce dunk or two. He does play hard.

But what gets me is the how he's failed to improve his game. How long does it take a dude at his height to learn how to dribble in a game? And why does it seem like his shooting has regressed? I seen 5 year old kids in the school yard with a more polished crossover.

And should Chaney be pushing him to do that sort of thing?

No doubt, GoNY... I know how that cat gets down. That's why I shut him down so hard... Everyone in the know on this board keeps their boot on his neck just like we do.

I let you guys rant I let you rave but one thing you don't know is the "TRUE POTENTIAL " of the NYK's under Don Chaney, F@#$ VANGUNDY THE QUITTER! Anderson is just doing what he does best, slash and score and play defense and lately putting down facials on opposing teams. PLZZZZZZZZ WELCOME THE NEW LOOK KNICKS

Well Shandon has been known to throw it down on cats since last year. I like thta alot. He's the only one besides Deke that will dunk on heads. If he can somehow become more consistent, he'd surprise alot of people.

Seems that he's coming out with Allan and KVH away from the court.

I still don't think he can be consistent...especially with Allan and KVH who will be back on the court shortly...and we will start losing again. You cant have 2 soft players who never take it to the hole as your main guys. Allan is an amazing shooter...but he is not a tough baller. KVH...well his name says it all!

Shandon should enjoy the spotlight he had for the past 2 games because I don't see Chaney benching KVH or H20 so Shanderson can be a starter. Plus he def won't be putting up 28 a night on a regular basis.

Here's the thing. Layden, that dumb muthafuka wanted McDyess post and taek it to the hole Houston and KVH to shoot all day and Deke to block shots. If McDyess returns and comes close to being the player he was, that will be a very team, but McDyess is never comming back to form and never going to play more than 30 games in a season. I like Frank and Doleac and the entire 2nd team. I cannot stand Shandon but he's doing a good job right now.

Best case scenario, Dice returns and plays well, H2O and KVH shoot well, Deke blocks shots and Frank gets a lot of playing time. Knicks win a bunch of games to go over .500 and deep into the playoffs.

Reality: Shandon returns to his old self shooting airballs and clanking rims and Eisely throws balls over people's heads. Knicks end up 5 games under .500 dont make the playoffs again and pick another undersized PF.
