Chris Mullin and yes, he's from my neighborhood on flatbush ave.

I think he would be a good addition to the front office so when donnie retires, Mullin will fully takeover.

So just to be clear here.

You think Mullin would be a good addition to the front-office because he's from your neighborhood, right?

I like him. He turned around a totally dead franchise getting Baron in there. They then beat the #1 Mavs to advance. They also won 48 games and didnt make the playoffs the following year and thats the most wins in 25 years without making the playoffs. He gave terrible contracts to Murphy and Foyal but later got out of them with trades. He had a couple draft duds in Diogu and OBryant, but a couple of gems as well in Monta Ellis, Anthony Randolph and big Russian guy (Biendris somethin).

I would be happy with him being GM under DW and Dantoni as coach. Mullen strikes me as an adaptable guy who can think outside the box.

his head resembles a box. biendris is latvian. and mulls was sabotaged in GSW by big man nelson.

I not in love with him, put you learn on the job and you evaluate on good and bad moves made.

Yes he gave terrible contracts to Murphy and Mike, but Murphy has proved to be a pretty versatile double double guy and Jr came into his own. But he made the deal with Indy which was great.

Solid moves on Monta, Brandon Wright, and Anthony Randolph, that's a pretty good core that he put together not to mention he accumulated tradeable assets in order to get future deals done.

Corey was a bad signing, but Ronny Turiaf was a nice move. He isn't all that bad and has some creative skills. So matching Mullin/Donnie/Mike together is a nice team.

HA HA HA!!

Mullin does have an eye for talent.

Just like Fishmike said ,look what he did to the Golden state warriors? They haven't made the playoffs in like 14 yrs so once he took over in 2004, his warriors 3 yrs later knocked the Mavericks as an 8th seed.

I think he's do way better than Assiah Thomas and Scott Laydown.

Uh Biedris is a top center in this league right now....he blocks shots and rebounds with the best. I think he's worth a trade.....bring Craw back too lmao!!! I'm serious though, lmao!!!

I disagree Eny. I think Biedrins is pretty comparable to Lee, worse offensively. You're right he blocks shots, but I'd just as soon sign Lee for that kinda money instead of going after Biedrins.

is he worth 9 million a year over the next 5? meaning, is he worth that money but is he also worthy of being a part of the foundation for our championship teams?

upon closer inspection, i think, yes. we were talking about lee for anywhere between 6 and 10 million. if this guy is 9, then lee can't be more than 7. blocks are big and rebounding is awesome. everything else is on par with david lee.

how is biedrins shot? lee's three point shooting could be the x-factor.

Lee shoots 3s?

Biedrins is overpaid in my opinion. If the guy had a contract at 6-7mill I would say sure, let's go get him, but he doesn't and to top it off he really doesn't have a J.

I think we get Ellis some how. GS management & Nelson doesn't him and Mullin loves him. Maybe a sign & trade?

hopefully we can have a boston-minnesota type trade scenario happen with the knicks-warriors. but they hate mullin.

If these players you're all talking about makes too much $$ and contracts go beyond 2010, Walsh isn't going to do anything unless we're talking about a premiere all-star.

The fact he's from Brooklyn is irrelevant. In fact, it makes it worse imo. I don't think there has been a New Yorker that has helped this franchise since Mark Jackson. The verdict ain't out on Walsh yet though.
