wouldnt count them as dead yet. pierce is still a stud, ray ray is lights out, rondo has improved even more this year and the team defense is lockdown. will be a good battle btwn them and cle in the ecf....btw - i bet ya kg gets surgery in the offseason. from the looks of it, his knee is not getting better so summer surgery may be on the horizon.

I just signed in to look for a thread like this and if there wasnt one I would start it myself.

Marbury definitely brought his bad mojo to the Celts - now maybe the Knicks will get that post Marbury bump in the off season.....

I still wouldnt count the Celts out of making a run but I highly doubt they will get a ring without KG - The Cavs, Magic, and Lakers all benefit from KG being out.

I'm not falling for it. This could just be like that playoff game where Pierce got hurt and had to be carried off the court writhing in agony....before the announcers could even get a locker room report on his injury he magically gets UN-hurt and five minutes later is back in the game.

.....and another thing that's bugging me. Flopping should be a penalty. If a guy flops he should get a delay of game call. If he flops again, give him a technical.

I'd agree that the thread is sad. Holding grudges isn't good for anyone. Move on already. I don't think anyone should be joking around about health--be it a knee injury or now Ainge's heart problems.

There probably was no ill will but this certainly looks like someone kidding around with Ainge's heart attack. How else would you describe it when someone connects the "Marbury curse" to a man's heart attack?
