This would be the trade. If you are Conlangelo you scream yippee and hang up the phone before Donnie has a chance to say wait a minute.

wow. i wish i had that strong a feeling for bosh's health and D. you're giving up the #8 or 9 pick, a 16/12/2 guy and now being held hostage to bosh's rfa offer, which could be huge. love to hear exactly what you see us getting for that in bosh with the whole contract thing ahead of of us.

So we just give up a first rounder and Lee for a player who we, more than likely, have the best shot at signing?

I don't think the no.8 pick is that valuable in this draft. Seeing as how we may not even match Lee at the dollars he would be commanding, it would seem like a no brainer. I don't think Bosh is the top piece- but if we can shed a couple of more guys we should still have the cash to be in the mix for another max guy in 2010. Bosh and another max guy clearly makes us better than we are right now.

I have a lot of issues with his game, but he can score in a variety of ways and would be huge in this offense (and more efficient IMO). He's 24 yrs old- younger than Lee. He will be a very good NBA player for a long time.

it would depend on who we picked at that slot in the lottery... if somehow Griffin, Rubio or Derozan were to inexplicably fall to us & we picked him, then i probably wouldn't do it... i'd instead offer up Lee, Nate & a 2012 unrestricted pick for Bosh... but if those 3 were off the board, then yes, i'd do it.

Agreed.

It entirely depends on who we can get in this draft. If Rubio or Griffin is at stake, of course not. Anyone else, time to seriously consider making the deal.

If Bosh comes over, what kind of $$ is available to sign Nash if he leaves PHX?

Adding Bosh and Nash in the off-season would radically alter the direction of this team and make them a much more attractive 2010 destination for superstar X, Y, or Z

Griffin fall, are you kidding. There is no way that happens Rubio isn't lasting past four. If the Knicks can do that deal you do it. You Play Bosh at the 5, Gallo at the 4, and Chandler at the 3 and you slot Nate and Duhon in. That's more than enough to get Lebron here.

I just don't think the Cavs are that good without him. How many do they win if you take him off the team. With Richardson and Harrington gone and the above lineup you have more to offer than Cleveland.

we're just giving examples for argument's sake... i don't think there's any way Derozan even slips to us where we'll be picking but who knows w/some of these idiot GM's.

What if Toronto ask for Lee, Chandler, Gallo & the Knicks pick for Bosh and Moon. I wouldn't do it but I am curious about people actual interest in Bosh and what they think is his worth.

Bosh isn't an RFA. He already extended his rookie scale contract to take him through 2010, becoming a FA that summer. He will be an unrestricted FA. You don't make this trade unless you are given a window to discuss an extension with him and come to terms on that contract. It probably is a max contract.

If I am the Knicks, I hold out until the summer of 2010. If you trade Lee get something back that you can't have at no cost in 2010. You need to get Batman before you get Robin.

Didn't they trade Moon to Miami. The rest is terrible...absolutely no deal.

That's what you would expect to trade for a max player. I agree. I wouldn't treat Bosh like a max player.

This is when the truth comes up.
You talk about Lee and he can compliment anybody for acceptable price...
and then you talk about Bosh... and all your eggs are suddenly in one basket.
You are looking at max contract... health... is he worth it...
No rush guys.

I would do

David Lee and pick 8 for Chris Bosh and pick 39 and then try to grab that Phoenix pick at 14
RIP Crushalot😞
