but did you find this years games exciting at least??Like I said in the beginning of the year,all I wanted out of this group was to give the fans a reason to go to the games, and turn the games on tv.Im kinda satisfied with the season because at least you knew they tried almost every nite.Blowout games aside(every team gets blown out now and then)I seen improvement in team chemistry and just maybe somewhat of a change in the losing culture. Look last yr at this time we werent even talking playoffs!!
I like DLee but if he asks for over 6 mil bye!!!
I like Nate but hes worth 3-5mil tops if we deal for a good starting point guard.The way I try to reason keeping Nate( dont jump on me here!)but hes like Starks was,you live or die by his smart or stupid decisions.His benefits outweigh his stupids.Now that I have opened that bag of worms....
Talking about point guards Duhon played too much in the beginning and middle and ran outta gas towards the end of the season.Nate would be a good backup at both spots but we do need a REAL point guard!!
And by a good point guard I dont mean Nash, Kidd or another teams reject they are trying to get rid of, I mean like a Paul, Dwill,Wade etc.... Use the expiring contracts if we have any!!!
Maybe Im dreaming here but just cant think of any players that wouldnt want to play in the Garden!!
Just thinking out loud.

They are more competitive, and more exciting. I went to a Suns game, in which they won, and it was very fun, yet they still made boneheaded plays that could have EASILY cost them the game. The Suns were playing equally dumb though, luckily.

With that said, to me, it's not enough to attract the masses. This isn't the 90s. Our current team would get destroyed by any of the 90s - 2001 Knicks teams.

This team doesn't warrant people talking about them like they talk about the Giants (I wont mention Yankees, b/c they are on a different planet, in terms of fan base) on the streets. Everybody talks about the Giants these days. NOBODY talks basketball. Nobody cares. A 30 win season with a little extra fun isn't going to change that.

The team needs to change then the fans come back.

1) Not one 40 or 50 point loss (yet).
2) Neither Walsh nor DoneTony appear in court.
3) Dolan speaks to no one in public.
4) The beat down game on Golden State where it looked like Duhon and Lee made like the 1960's Celtics (offensively, anyway). With apologies to Bill Russell.

seriously, the knicks got destroyed by the 2009 sacramento knings AND memphis grizzlies...

Besides that....cooch....how are we supposed to get Paul, or D-will? Wade said he wouldntplay here and he isn't a point guard anyway.

Knicks need to improve at every position...I mean I was amused at times this season...but everyone should go.

ENY gotta have faith and feel the love Donnie has for this team!!! Guaranteed he makes a deal that just shakes things up around the league.This is what he does and it will be this summer or next season BL(before lebron).He needs to show LBJ he means business and will bring in the pieces that will get a fast championship, not like Clevelands long wait.

That is kind of stupid to say David Lee is not worth more than 6mm and lets get rid of him. I hope NY management doesnt think that way--the guys is averaging 16-12 55% and he's worth only the MLE? Come on!~ A fair MINIMUM would be 6 years 48mm$ and I think he has earned ATLEAST that much. Getting RID of David Lee could also send the franchise way back. Unless someone gives nate 10mm per Im not willing to let either just go without fair compensation.

thanks briggs for calling me stupid but Ill just take it where its comes from.And rookie stop being such a drama queen with the coffee remark,you say that to everyone! Eny thank you for just stating your opinion and not ripping a person for his, unlike others that must put another person down for having his opinion. Also Eny you gonna be in joes league next yr.?

Dude, they just lost 10 out of their last 12 games....and they're not even trying to tank. Not sure how you are **guaranteeing** a mega deal and fast championships but whatever, keep on thinking happy thoughts. This team is lacking in every area. There is no **quick** fix for this. This is what rebuilding looks like. We are YEARS away, but atleast we are on the right track and we have solid leadership who isn't going to squander away precious cap space for another quick fix.

I dunno about fantasy basketball anymore.....the nba is just not fun to follow anymore.

As far as calling you stupid cuz you don't think lee is worth 6 mil....what's that about? I happen to agree that Lee isn't worth more that that. Knicks should ignore him and make him sign an offer sheet. Knicks have a lot of chips to play with and don't have time to be held hostage by the softest double double machine in the history of the league.
