I'm starting to resent the year-in, year-out attitude that we all basically need to develop (at varying degrees) in order to stay interested as a fan. "Hey, we need to lose for the greater good!"

IMO, mohawks aren't "cool" to begin with - but dying one in cherry kool-aid? That's just.... no. OK? It's not workin'.

Raptor fan #1 and I were at the game today. Big ups to Queeniepop for setting us up with some outstanding seats, free food and some Knick gear. In return I have promised to defend Jamal Crawford at all costs on ultimateknicks.com. If we only had no.11 orchestrating down the stretch today we would not have tanked this game.

It was a really weird game to watch. The Knicks could basically post up Bosh any time they wanted early on. He is tremendously at anchoring on D and while he has superb offensive talent, he just doesn't seem to be born with that scorers mentality. DJ's boy Bargs on the other hand is a cold blooded assassin. His shooting touch is as good as anyone's in the league, and he's really built himself up physically. If the Raptors let Bosh go I could see Bargs breaking out as a mid 20's scorer. That team is a lot better offensively when he's getting the ball.

That being said we gave up at the end of the third, early 4th. I don't think we were trying at all. Furious rally at the end saved some face, but all in all it wasn't much of an effort, and this point who cares since its all about positioning.

That being said I don't see what this team can do to get better for next year if they don't give up on having space to play in 2010. That pick that they are gonna end up losing will be a big one.
