Anyone want to guess his line? 9 and 8 against us last time. 7.8/7.4 in 20:53 in March, getting rotation minutes in a very good Nuggets team. I didn't miss his game too much, but I think we could use him now

scrubs tend to have career games vs the knicks.. I wouldn't be suprised to see balkman get 10/9 or even better... then again, he could try to do too much and get benched... you never know with the knicks, since we don't defend much or contest, I could lace them up and go out there and drop 10..

I don't want to make it sound like I'm a huge Balkman fan because I'm not, but he's played well in energy minutes. Karl basically said he's going to play him a decent number of minutes against a team that didn't want him. I could see him having the night of his career tonight

So I'm going to guess 13 and 10 in 28 minutes

I will say 8 points 6 board a 1/5 of grey goose and no work ethic in practice.

Another great super-sub drafted by Isiah.

He was fun to watch, that's for sure.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Renaldo Balkman is replaceable and should not be missed. We should be focused on finding starters first. Guys like Balkman will be there 2, 3, 4 years down the line when we need them. I personally wished that Walsh got something for him, but now that he is gone, who cares.

Too bad they used a lottery pick to replace him with a Kyle Korver type.

True, but who has replaced him? Roberson? Nichols? He's good enough to get 20 MPG from the third best team in the West.

No one replaced him. That's the disappointment. I think they basically got rid of him for nothing which was a mistake, but............In the long-term scheme of things, guys like Renaldo will be available in the draft, trade, free-agency. They are a dime a dozen.

Doesn't need replacing right now. We'll pickup up whoever to fill in the cracks when our team is good enough to need someone to fill in the cracks. Right now our focus doesn't need to be on that type of player.
It's not even like he has potential to be a multi-faceted player, who we should hold on to and develop. He's an energy guy who can't shoot, and isn't even the hardest worker.
From a GM point of view, did we give him away?, I don't know, I'm not arguing that. Only basketball pt of view.

Ok, so here is his stats from last night:

8 mins, 0 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist, 1 steal, no fouls and had his shot blocked under the basket by Chandler, after which he never saw game time again, what gives?

To be honest, I thought he was going to have a big game...
