I figure maybe we could have an ongoing topic discussing all the OTHER 8th seed canidates games...

Starting with tonight, charlotte lost to the lowly wolves... excellent!

While chicago beat new orleans... damn it!!

I couldn't believe NOH lost to the Bulls like that. It looks like they just totally collapsed in the 4th. The Bulls are the ones i'm most concerned about, cuz they seem to be getting it together.

Why do you guys want the team to make the playoffs? Making the playoffs is not going to help this squad. The last thing we want is Nate and Lee showcasing themselves in the playoffs. Nate has already upped his salary value by a couple of million based on his play over the last few weeks. We might have to spend $18-$20 million to resign both. Plus, we need a lottery pick. This team has talent, probably more talent than we realized, but we still need a good center, a starting caliber two-way pg, and a defensive-minded PF. This draft has only a few players that I think can help. Getting the 15th pick is not going to do us much good (unless IT is still making the late round draft decisions).

I want the team to play well and continue to grow, but we don't need to make the playoffs.

funny thing is any 2 game swing either way can potentially determine whether we sneek into the playoffs this year or make it into the top 10 of the draft lottery.

Devin Harris took a NASTY SPILL on his shoulder when Marcus Camby attempted to block his layup. He may be out for a while.

Nets down 5 in the 3rd to the Paper Clips, BTW.

Marbury, whether he's here or on the Celtics, is about 50% of the player he once was. His game really slipped over the last couple years. He doesn't make that big of a difference to the Celtic roster when you subtract KG.

*whew* we're still tied with the Nets at Cats.


Side note: Devin Harris suffered a sprained shoulder (X-Rays negative). You hate to see someone get hurt - but we just got a HUGE gift that we need to take advantage of on Wednesday.
