Derozen is a freak. I wouldn't be mad if the Knicks pick him up if they aren't going after a center or point. Derozen is a poor man Vince.

UCLA can't make USC's athleticism and intensity. Gibson and Derozan are all over the court.

He played himself out of the lottery early in the season and in the last month he played himself right back in. I mean what a turn around. He's much more attractive that all of those little guards but unfortunately he is playing his way very high up there. He definitely become an attractive choice. He hit only 4 3's all year but hit 2 in the last two nights. He's very active. He's not Gerald Green 2 --like Mark Jackson said--he's better than that. All of the mock drafts have killed him and if you watched him early in the season--very justifiable because he didnt look anything like a top 5 pick but he does now. Believe me he is playing his way back into the top 5. I wouldnt say anything like Vince Carter but I would say Gerlad Wallace. In fact he is much farther along then Wallace as a freshmen at Alabama. Derozen really doesnt have a shot and has only a fair handle--kind of like a young Wallace but he can improve on these areas but he has got IT.

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

it didn't take as long as i thought for u to finally acknowledge this kid's potential... if we could grab an extra pick to draft this kid we should do it... he can be a star.

DeRozen keeping USC in this Championship game singlehandedly.

Harden just got stuffed by Taj Gibson on a shot attempt in the closing seconds w/his team down 1... the Condoms are about to pull off an upset to win the Pac10 championship.

Gibson at the foul line makes 1 of 2 FT attempts to put them up by 2...

Harden w/the ball in his hands again, attempts a 3 & clangs it off the rim... ball goes to Trojans on the out of bounds w/2 seconds left... game over barring some kinda miracle turn over & basket.

USC wins... Derozan thoroughly outplays James Harden, someone many people think is a consensus top 5 pick in the draft this year... the Compton kid's stock just shot up even more.

yeah, Lil Romeo's game is garbage... i watched him playing in celebrity allstar weekend a few times & guys like Erkel & Nellie were outplaying him (not that Nellie's not a good athlete in his own right)

I've fallen in love with this player. He was so very impressive and we have had nothing like this type of athlete. He reminds me more of a Dwayne Wade type player. Wade couldnt shoot the 3 ball when he was young either[and still has problems with it in the NBA] but I really liked how he was able to attack the rim in that tourney--showing great ability to score rebound and be a willing passer with absolute elite type of athletic ability. The more I watched the more I realize that above anyone this should be our target--he's got what we need. If I had pick 3 I would take him with it.

Derozan is essentially this year's DeAndre Jordan... a player that was ranked to high at the beginning of the year because of his lack of polish, but now is being penalized way too much for his lack of experience

No way--there is no way that Derozen doesnt go 3-7 Jordan just came out in a year when there was an unusual amount of C that came out and he got jobbed

Jordan was projected to go third, a top five guy, and then fell and fell and fell.

What's happening to Derozan now? By the way, go back and look where SGs get drafted.

I'll say right now--unless Derozan dominates the tournament--history repeats itself and these guys get taken before Derozan:

Griffin (PF)
Thabeet (C)
Hill (PF)
Jennings (PG)/Teague (PG)

and

James Harden (SG) gets taken before Derozan.

Then, you got interesting guys like Aminu, Henderson, Clark, Brackins, Maynor, Mullens, Curry who may or may not go before Derozan.

So to say that a SG who can jump real high is guaranteed to be drafted 3-7, when history shows SGs slide time and time again in drafts is crazy

Remember last year when you were telling me how crazy I was when I said Rose was definitely the number one overall pick and a better choice than Beasley? If you don't take a minute to think about that before blasting my draft input (again)

Im saying from what I saw this weekend I would take Derozen as high as 2. I was the same guy who killed him at the beginning of th year for being hyped a top 3 pick. He looked lost he couldnt shoot and was having little to no impact. The player picked it up in the last month and it culminated this weekend. He looks like a Dwayne Wade type player. Should I say I didnt see the games and I will stick with other players when I just saw that display? It's like a stock--if I see something nice and have a conviction about it--but two days later see something better--should I stay with pick 1?

Listen Im not the only guy who watched Derozen this weekend---the guys who count saw him too.

i think Derozan will definitely go top 7 too... if he slips past there then someone isn't doing their job... i seriously would like to move up in this draft to take this kid.
