If they're still fighting for the 2 seed, this will be tough.

If they're locked in at #3, we'll definitely have a winnable game - SVG will rest guys.

I just like the fact that Nate's averaging 4 rpg. That says all I need to know. The kid just loves to play ball. If he can apply just a fraction of that intensity to the defensive side of his game, he'd be frightening.

But he's definitely no superstar yet. Just a huge blip on a really bad, bad rebuilding team.

They used to say Howard Cosell became the top in sports broadcasting by simply standing up.

he is box office with people coming to see him play, like a novelty act. but a superstar? no. he is sort of like micheal adams in the early 90's who was small and could score on everyone. people paid to see him and he was an all star replacement that year but nothing more.

You gotta be careful using political terms like superstar on internet sports forums...unless the guy is one of the chosen few you will get flamed for it.

Anyway, I like how D'antoni describes Nate. That's all that matters. I wish he would start him though. Nate needs to be groomed to be the starting point. Why put the Knicks in the hole all the time for Nate to come in and save them?

Hughes and Nate is where its at. I think that line-up with Duhon playing 20 minutes per off the bench and maybe a shooter like Carlos Delfino....that's fine.

Donnie just needs to find some front court talent @ the 4-5.

This used to be a proud franchise that was on national tv every week for good hard nosed basketball, if it makes you happier to have a very athletic and selfish 6th man who doesn't care about defense and is not a winner that yields us 1 national tv spot a year, then you and I are two very different types of Knick fans.

Of course that is part of the reason Nate got the Knicks on National TV. Everyone knows that and his play of late has been superstar like. check this out Nate is averaging 26.6 point in the last 14 games with 7, 30+ point games in that span not to mention he had an ankle sprain he has been dealing with recently. In my book as of right now Nate is a superstar. I know its hard for some to fathom that Nate is Superstar because you have seen him play on a regular basis, but he is a superstar, I don't know about you guys but I'm seeing something that you guys might not be seeing. Nate is taking over games, superstars take over games. Don't be blinded by what you have already seen just see him from this point on and you will be surprised what you are seeing right before your eyes.
