Now maybe all the people that don't want to get Melo will change their mind.
I never thought he was coming here because he is from Cleveland. Nobody leaves their hometown if they are a superstar.

this article is completely ridiculous and typical terrible reporting from the post.

no disrespect, but did you read the rest of it, or just the title?
Nevertheless, Hughes said the Knicks could be James' next choice if he doesn't re-sign with the Eastern Conference leaders.

"I'd definitely think he'd consider it especially if he doesn't re-sign," Hughes said. "I think all his options will be open. At the same time, I think he's going to go to a place where he feels he could win the most and also get the exposure of being in that market."

wow, what amazing insight we get from hughes...who was obviously just speculating, and has exactly what inside knowledge that would be ridiculous for lebron to share with the public at this point?

cleveland isn't even lebron's hometown, either.

this is so silly.

it's funny because i posted a joking post earlier about the over under on how many threads there will be saying lebron will/won't come here.

LeBron definitely won't come to Big Apple if Larry Hughes is still on the team.

He could come here if he has some NY obsession like some have speculated, but I worry that pressure from his agent will get really tough to ignore if the $ difference is stark between what the Knicks can offer and what the Cavs can offer.

Hopefully Nike REALLY wants him in NYC.

The only way lebron comes to knicks is if he hasn't won title yet thats the only way. I don't think the cavs will win the title this year.
