Posted by tkf: Ariza definately was wrong...especially with him running at the mouth after it. He knew what he was doing. He knew Rudy was in the air...he did go for the ball but he had no chance at it and made a irresponsible play. He was going for the hard foul. That is a very dangerous situation. He didn't even show remorse....he just went at the Blazers like "what!!!" again I'm disappointed more at the Portland bigmen....I'm sorry but guys would have to fight over this. Rudy could have flipped and came down on his neck, or broke his arm....what if that indeed happened? Subscribe to my Podcast https://youtube.com/c/DiehardknicksPodcast

You have to give him a flagrant 2 even if he was going for the ball. You can't have players hitting other players on the head.

Posted by Ira:What if it was entirely accidental? It looks to me like he was going for the ball and the contact was ugly but accidental. |

Actually I seen Rudy make similar swipes. If the NBA wants to be serious then make a stand and disallow block shot attempts. i think it was a little excessive on Ariza's part... considering what the score was & it was later on in the game i think there was some frustration there in his intent over just trying to block the layup... looked to me like he wanted to knock that ball or Rudy F into the stands, either or.

Argh... I can't believe we made that Ariza for Francis trade...
Larry is such a genius. He must have known he'd be battling the Knicks for a playoff spot at some point down the road. Alan Hahn:
Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)
