Did anyone catch that we're going to be wearing "Nueva York" jerseys tomorrow?

I wish we would just go with the throwback jerseys and leave it at that. The St. Pat's jerseys and all the other garbage is getting old.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

It's all about marketing and getting fans interested in buying different jerseys. It has absolutely nothing to do with being festive.

I too find this promotion silly. I was irked by "Italian Heritage Night". I mean, what's that, because of Gallo, Mike and Dan D, and Bargs? What gives... we're going overboard with this. Whats next? Santa uniforms on a xmas day game? (lol, think eddy curry LOL). Hey, it snowed recently, why not some frosty the snowman uniforms? Pumpkins on halloween? bleh.

I have no problem with the St. Patricks Day game and uniforms though. I think they're kinda cool actually.

LOL. Actually I think because Dolan is Irish we got the ST Pats day theme going on. I'm fine with that.

I'm Italian BTW and as said that Italian Heritage Night was a joke, as is the whole announcement of Gallinari's name and the cheap Italian sound bites that they thankfully stopped.

Weak stuff there.

Now that there is Latino night where's African American night? What about Armenian night? Hell, lets have Russian night when AK47 comes to the garden. Etc..... it's just too much overkill. Enough already.

There should be a Spanish game thread. Shouldn't this have waited for a game against a Spanish player?

To me, you don't see the Yankees or even the Mets doing this. I like the teams that hold onto tradition.
