Yeah, no Wilcox or Hughes.

But maybe we get a "Live from the Air Canada Centre" courtesy our resident sell out former Knicks season ticket holder...

I never understood why these guys aren't able to suit up for a game with more than 24 hours to get ready after a trade.

Hopefully Danilo gets a lot of burn with TT shipped out and Hughes not ready to suit up. Maybe he can show Andre how the tall lanky Italians are supposed to play.

Why can't Wilcox and Hughes get in uniform by tonight's game? They had a day to fly out here and get their physicals....

bosh banged up (didn't play wednesday and is day to day with a slight sprain in his knee and a bone bruise). jose banged up (hamstring still bothering him). i think the knicks have a good shot at taking both games.

Not that the Knicks are making the playoffs, but if they are to have any shot these are the kinds of games they have to take. The reality is that the Raps are the 2nd worst team in the East and don't really have any business beating playoff teams.

well, the difference between the 8th seed and the 14th seed is 5 games. factor in schedule, injuries, etc...what we're looking at here is an absolutely atrocious conference with only 4-5 real "playoff teams". miami is the 4th seed and their 3 games over .500.

Which is why a team that's trying to establish itself must beat the teams that are worse than them

Wilcox and Hughes are not expected to be available for tonight's game against the Raptors at the Garden, but they could be in the lineup in Sunday's game in Toronto.

Going to be tough to close games on the teams with us and ahead of us in the East.

Hopefully these dudes are inspired by the trades tonight.

I bet it's going to be a huge relief to Dave.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

yeah, i think DLee and Nate should be in good moods. QRich might pull out a good game, he tends to do that when his starting job is threatened.

its in the CBA for one thing.. they have 48 hours to report to their new team. Lets be fair.. its life man. Just because they are rich and play BB doesnt make it easy to leave your home for another city with 24 hour notice.

I think I read somewhere that the Knicks/players/teams involved have until 6pm Sunday to make the trade officially transacted.

And not for nothing but neither guy has played much. They're out of shape, have no clue how to play with their new team, etc.

It's unfortunate but their arrival may be a bit too late for the Knicks. We need to win games badly now. We must dump Toronto tonight and Sunday no questions asked. Can't afford not to anymore unless someone thinks this team has another 8-3 streak in them to close the year - and even if so - they _must_ play at least .500 ball until then.

Big climb now. It was terrible timing to go 0-6 for a second time this year, completely blowing at least 2 of those games all on our own.

Hahn now reporting they will be available.

Larry Hughes and Chris Wilcox will be available before tonight's game against the Toronto Raptors (how happy is Chris Bosh that most of the New York media will be distracted by these two and not as focused on asking him the requisite 2010 questions?).

Awesome! Can't wait for 7:30! Watch the game and get Allanfan'd afterwards. Nice.
