I doubt it. He would be in that next tier of 10. I don't think his stock will go higher--the bottom line is he will have to prove some things and at the end of the day I think that is 11-20 range.

If we're holding Lee to trade him before the draft... Jennings would have to be the target. We need that type of player.

I don't like Thabeet's frame. I think he'll get pushed around.

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

I'll be shocked if he doesnt go 2. I havent seen 1 player this year push him around. He is 275 pounds.

Who would you compare Thabeet to? Sam Dalembert? Mutombo?

Mutombo sounds like an excellent comparison. Thabeet is going to be phenomenal.

Why isn't Ricky Rubio on these lists? If he slips to the Knicks pick, do you take him?

I hear you, but he is thin no? Who's a player who is built like him in the NBA? Hunter?

I don't understand why we can't sticky a draft thread? Is this request unreasonable? Hey dude you've been crying for a shot blocker for so long why isn't one higher on your list?

Patterson can block shots & i think he's a more well rounded player than Thabeet is... i love Thabeet's shotblocking but not fully convinced he'll ever be much more than a specialty player.

You're telling me the knicks wouldn't gain instant credibility by acquiring Thabeet? He immediately fills the GLARING hole on this team, a defensive interior presence.

This guy might be Camby with even better defense (once he refines the jumper)

Duhon, Chandler, Gallinari, Lee, Thabeet

With instant offense Nate and Harrington off the bench? Yes sir.

Isn't Patterson somewhat of an undersized 4?

He is eligible, but it looks like he'll stay in Spain until 2010. That's a shame, because we don't have our pick next year.

i'm not saying anything other than i think Patterson's got a more well rounded game... he can block shots, score in the post, has a decent mid range game & can get up & down the court... Thabeet seems a bit lumbering to me when i see him in games... i think he's a definite impact shotblocker, & would certainly not complain if we ended up w/him as our pick, but my preference would be to go w/a more well rounded player that brings more to the table like Patterson... i think a player like Amare or Bosh would be more of a fit for what MDA wants in a C anyways.

Since this is a Knick site, and since we are pushing hard to just miss the playoffs- this list should really be- top ten in picks 10-20.

Yeah, but let's be clear, he doesn't have a fraction of the Rainman's athletic ability.
