The average deficit in our losses this season isn't encouraging. Neither is the fact that the Cavs seem to have not lost a step and have a ridiculously great record. Kobe lighting the Knicks, inviting Lebron to top him, while also show the Knicks what they could have in 2010, is certainly another point against the Knicks.

But New York has been playing very well lately. They fought hard with LA but lost to one of the best players in the league and his MSG-record setting 61 points. Lee is playing great, so is the rest of the team, but expecting them to equal the impact of a guy like Kobe is ridiculous. But a good team effort and solid play down the stretch, including solid defense against another elite player, could give the Knicks a solid win.

Lets see what happens.

Pau Gasol won it just as much as Kobe did though. He KILLED us.

At the same time David Lee, Chandler, and Harrington all dropped 20 on the Fakers "team".

BTW...this is the Cleveland game thread!!! totally different ball game....the Knicks are actually gonna face a real basketball team now.

That's the problem. Not only this is a real basketball team, but one that also has a player that can score 61+ on us, especially motivated by a guy that just did that.

Oh well, brace yourselves...

By the way, you can stand a guy scoring 31, like Pau did while "killing us". You can also stand another 31 or some. But 90+ points from two guys? Thats a killer.

I don't understand why we draft a tweener sf/pg when you have possible all-stars at the center and sg spot. Lee put up very quiet numbers, Gasol was eating him a live last night.

Chandler played as good as he could on Kobe he just couldn't miss, he has some serious defensive abilities and is just learning the game, once he does he will be a special type of defender.

Al Harrington needs to stop shooting three's and take the ball inside more, his shot selection is a real problem.

who was calling gordon a possible all-star before the draft? and wasn't common opinion pretty sketchy on lopez as a pro as well?

I agreed there are no homeruns in the draft and it's a crap shoot, but you draft the best player obviously, but you also look to address a need. I don't know if Gallo fit that need. With Chandler in the fold and lee. Lopez was looked at going 3-5.

I don't know if Gallo was super high on anyone's list, I still like the kid, but I am just not seeing a very high ceiling.

Didn't LeBron put up a triple double on the Knicks with 50, 10 and 10.
