Yeah so I'm drooling over Gallo...and I'm loving Wilson even though he's a shy guy.

Thing is what are we looking at right now?

Gallo is still only 20 years old....He'll be 22 in 2010...ok so right now I view him as a 3. He's gonna get stronger but he's still just a 3 cuz you don't want to have him banging inside. You want him running, driving and shooting.

Ok...David Lee is pretty damn good lets face it...ok say the Knicks re-sign him...no way do you consider bringing in Lebron James...where would he play. He's a natural 3...he could dominate any position but why would he leave a team built for him to be on a team that will have to start over just to fit him in? I like Lebron as a power fwd anyway, but with Lee here what is the point?

ok so Chris Bosh if he comes he'd be asked to play center. D-Wade is free but he loves south beach. He would become a GOD here in NYC so I think that's appealing to him....

Point guard...Duhon is not a championship point guard I'm terribly sorry fellas. He's a bum and everyone here is brain washed. What do the Knicks do about the point guard spot? Ok say they love Duhon and since theres no other alternatives that seem to be free in 2010....and considering everything else.

Roster:

David Lee
Gallo
Bosh
Duhon
Wade

Wilson off the bench...who knows who else is gonna be on the team then....

Is that a Championship roster? Thats not even written in stone...but if they could win games and make the playoffs the Knicks could have 4 all-stars and maybe even Duhon can piggy back into some consideration with that support.

It's too up in the air at this point. I know its cool to be in it...but what are we really doing with the roster?

Like what the hell is the next move?

Here's one comment from Walsh:

"I think that opening up cap space down the road for us is a big plus on our side and I hope our fans understand that that can give us an opportunity to make the team better according to the plan that I've outlined,"

Every quote that I've read by him says basically the same thing...the goal is to open up cap space in order to make the team better. As you can see, adding two max contracts in 2010 doesn't necessarily make the team better or give us ANY flexibility and Walsh has NEVER even alluded to doing this....so why frustrate yourself by perpetuating the hype?

you wouldn't consider bringing in the best (youngest) player in the NBA cause you don't know where to play him? LOL

if u have any shot at all of signing Lebron u find a place for him & worry about everyone else later... i don't care if you have Tim Duncan on this team, if Lebron is best suited to play PF, then u shift Duncan to C to accomodate him... where D Lee would be playing shouldn't even be an afterthought.

It's a lot of smoke screen around Lebron 2010 team selection...
But one thing is for sure - he will be the one to select from many options.
And if he want to be first sport star billionare the only way to accomplish this is NY.
LA is anothe option but they have Kobe already and Bron will never be teh second; he want to be the First.
The money he will get outside max contract in NY will be so big that it will be nobrainer.

I have absolutely no frustration about the present roster anymore (except emotions while watching games of course) and no lack of patience regarding 2010.

I'll worry about 2010....in 2010.

Until then we rid ourselves of two overpaid career losers that had to go no matter the future plans of the team. A few more are guaranteed on the way out the door as time moves forward.

All the necessary steps have been taken to improve the team atmosphere and chemistry in the near term and have given ourselves the best chances seen so far in 8 long years to improve the team talent in the future.

Not sure why there's so much frustration or anguish or trepidation or whatever other adjective of negativity doom gloom and impatience you'd like to put in there over today's roster and the potential moves made in 2010.

It's a process and it was started properly.

wasn't that part of the story of the blazers taking bowie over jordan? they said "we need a center," so a smart person told them, "OK, draft jordan and play him at center."

Forget Bosh.

Bring in Wade and Lebron and play them at the PG & SG.
You'll have the biggest and most dominant back court in NBA.
Sign a big stiff that can block and grab rebounds at Center.
Play Wilson at the 3.
And if DG pans out, he's your 6th man.

Yeah. There is no way I am passing on LeBron because of David Lee. Let's get serious here. I'd trade David Lee for a bowl of pasta if LeBron wanted to sign here.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Has anyone looked at Cleveland's roster lately? They have alot of contracts that expire by 2010 as well. Wouldn't they be able to resign Lebron and get another max free agent like Bosh?

Eny,

You can't see the future.

Can we draft an impact player this June?

Can we get a shot blocking rebounding running center?

Can we draft a point this june?

Trade Lee to get one of the above and play Lebron at the 4.

Don't worry about fitting the pieces we might not have.
