![]() First off, lol... http://ultimateknicks.com/forum/topic.asp?t=29703
Secondly, you're basing your extreme optimism and desire to take anyone to task who talked about how maybe we couldn't afford to keep Lee - ON A SPECULATIVE ARTICLE. We reported today that there is reason to believe that Donnie Walsh seems to be more in favor of trying to keep David Lee rather than shop the pending restricted free agent before the trade deadline. "Reason to Believe" "Seems to be" "of trying to" If a good offer is not there then Walsh will not trade him this deadline. That's a simple no-brainer no matter what. Then until June there's nothing to discuss because we could still package him in a trade during the draft after we make our pick with a team that picks later (with them initiating the trade). After that there's mid-july where we can either negotiate an extension or see if he takes the QO if we have other plans. But, no, instead lets go on a hunt to take everyone to task as if it's already mid-july and Lee is re-signed to an extension. ![]() http://popcornmachine.net/ A must-use tool for NBA stat junkies!
