I don't think he is coming back from whatever he has done to himself. He looks old and unhealthy. He's looked like he has aged 15 years in 1.5 years. I hope the Knicks aren't counting on trading him anytime soon.

He does look like he aged since training camp. It amazing but it looks like his calves got fatter too. Simply amazing.

When Curry's biggest fan is giving up on him, you know it's over.

I'll refrain from the obvious weight jokes (for once) but wow, man, if he only gave a ****. He just doesn't care.

So easy to jump to conclusions. Any player can be traded if the move is right, and I will keep my hopes up that Curry will be gone soon.

That said, wow! Is this guy depressed or something? So many people would love to be in his position with a job earning so much money and he can't even stay in shape? Come on, a motivated guy, even injured, can get in shape with the bicycle. Not only he looks fat but also depressed.

Yeah, when you are that big and borderline overweight, it is imperative that you keep yourself in shape. One missed summer of working out can ruin you for the rest of your career. Curry is just lazy. You make $10 million a year. The only thing you have to do for 4 months out of the year is workout and stay in shape. The rest of the year, you run for 3-4 hours almost everyday, so there should be no reason you gain weight. Even if you were the laziest dude in the world, all you need to do is hire a personal trainer to get your a** up and workout 2-3 hours a day and hire a cook to make you low-fat food that still tastes decent. It is not that damn hard. People like me who sit at a desk for 50 hours a week can have an excuse for gaining weight. A player like Curry has no excuse. The fact that this guy cannot stay in shape tells you everything you need to know about Curry.

He's never going to love playing basketball but he hasn't played in what 8 months and he's woefully out of shape as a result. Either you'll see an improvement over the next four weeks or that will be the end of Eddy Curry ever being of any value.

Give it a little more than his FIRST appearance in nearly a year though. Just don't expect that 19/7 player from two years past. Gotta give it four weeks and let him play himself into better shape.

From what I saw last night was a man who has given up. I think he may see 400 pounds before he is 30.

Playing yourself into shape is about getting your wind and timing back. A player should never be overweight by more than 5-10 pounds, unless you just could not move. They have swimming pool exercises, stationary bikes, and other things to keep your weight down while injured (as well as the fact that you can just not eat as much). Certainly Curry needs a few weeks to get his wind and timing, but he should not be 20-30 pounds overweight.

It's a disgrace these **** heads even have salaries. The NBA should really do something about players reporting out of shape these guys need clauses in their contracts that penalizes them for eating cheeseburgers and playing video games instead of getting ready for the season.

Very alarming how little lift Eddy had last night. His upper body isn't even in shape that is just downright inexcusable.

I feel bad for him honestly. I know ima get killed with the "How can u feel sorry for someone making that kind of money" well my answer is realize life is more than money.

there is obviously something wrong with him, depression or wahtever, he can't be happy or feel good about himself stumbling around the league like this. I hope he gets his life together

What pisses you off the most about it is if the dude got his a** down to 250 pounds and worked on his passing out of the double team, he probably would be a freakin allstar. Outside of Shaq and maybe 1 or 2 others, I don't think any other current players can match his skill-set on the low block.

None of that is ever going to change and we know it. Yet in a couple of weeks he should be better off than he is now. If he's not then it's probably over for him. He should be able to get into 10-15 minutes worth of game shape however. We've seen him do this every year. It's just that this go around he's had a lot more time off and now he's the worst I think I've ever seen him.

They need to bust his ass in practice and then try for 4-5 minute stints in games.

Like I said though it's going to take probably about four weeks to get him back to any semblence of an NBA player. Five times up and down the court and he was ready to collapse ala Jerome James. Those lungs must have been COOKING lol.

To get from the condition he is in to where he needs to be isnt going to happen in 1 month--how about 9 months to a year. He is still young enough with weight training perfect diet and an exercise program that ramps up his body will respond favorably. I don't think he is an NBA player right now or at the minimum was an embarrassment to the league to be out there last night.
Also if he does have knee problems--they will come back to haunt him at this weight. He needs to lose roughly 75 pounds as an estimate.
