Blazers getting ready to move in on Lee

Several sources with knowledge of the situation have told TKB that the Portland Trailblazers are getting serious about trading for David Lee.
Blazers ownership thinks Lee is the perfect 6th man, who will be 26 in April and can be part of their long term plans. As we know Lee has leverage because he doesn’t have to sign with a team he is traded to, but playing in Portland with their young core would be very attractive. http://www.theknicksblog.com/2009/01/04/blazers-getting-ready-to-move-in-on-lee/ Can someone please defend the rack?

sergio is a nice player, but for lee, we better get a lot more back...
Anyone who sits around and waits for the lottery to better themselves, either in real life or in sports, Is a Loser...............

I agree TKF no way he does Sergio or sergio and a pick.
If they get into discussions a third team HAS to be involved. TD Can someone please defend the rack?

i don't see anything going down. trading lee w/o dumping a contract would be a terrible idea.

i thought that too but look at it this way. Walsh is WAY ahead of schedule and after moving Crawford and Randolph there's no desperation to move Curry...yet.
Let Curry at least play a bit to see if they can move him. and next year his contract looks that much "better." And JEfferies' contract isn't that bad. Can someone please defend the rack?

I'd want a king's ransom. Or as Dj says, lets dump contracts. Can they trade LaFrentz while injured?
Check it out: Raef LaFrentz, Channing Frye and Rudy Fernandez and Sergio Rodriguez for Lee, Jeffries and Curry. |
