0. Duhon
0. Nate
0. Chan
0. DG ???
0. AL ???

They're all temps. I think the whole roster gets overhauled over the next few years.

"If there's a hell below, they ALL gotta go" - Curtis Mayfield

arkrud - brother basketballjones has it nailed. There is no such thing as "sense of value"

Center - HUGE tbd. first priority. job description: would settle for Jack Sikma clone

Enforcer Forward - tbd. job description: Rasheed Wallace skill-set with Charles Oakley's quotes

Skill Forward - tbd, job description: a Lamar Odom/Ron Artest homeboy-type

Assistant Guard - The Mayor. Vote early and often. 6'8 240 lb Change You Can Believe In

Swing G/F - Gallinari, maybe.. just maybe...

Lead Guard - Duhon. until further notice. Too many other weak spots to solve.

(Lee is a sixth man on a deep playoff team)

2012 will look nothing like today. That is of course, if the levee don't break.

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

So currently we have 2 prospects (Chan, galo) and 3 solid backups (Lee, Duhon, Nate)
Is it anaizing that this team can win some games? Or is NBA so bad overal?

Value to the team in the sense of, if you took this guy away, would we even be competetive? Or in terms of trade value. I took the question to mean the first.

If that is the case

No.1 by far is Duhon. Without Duhon this team would fall flat on its face and lose by 25 every game.

Next is probably Harrington cause he provides the most verstaile scoring option the team has.

Third would be Lee, without which there is practically no rebounding. He's also our most important finisher inside.

Fourth is Chandler- his verstaility and defense on the perimeter is kee.

The rest kind slot in. IF there were a guy who could really shot it, he'd be next. What you have remaining is variable scoring. Nate is the best player out of the group, but I think we showed we can win some games without Nate. His loss hurt us more in the sense that we didn't have any backup guards more than we missed his play specifically I think.

When we have only six players (Nate, Lee, Chandler, Duhon, Al and Galo) worth talking about then yes' it is amazing! Now imagine adding two to three stars to this team in 2010? These six will already be seasoned.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Newsflash: we will not have Lee, Nate, Al, or Duhon in 2010 unless something changes.
Its a terrible realization I've come to based on cap rules.

I think David Lee and Nate are probably a tie......I'd like to keep both.....the rest of the team probably could go. Al Harrington impresses me though.

Correction, we'd probably all like to see those three succeed, and even to some degree maybe Duhon and Harrington.

Yet, none of the five have done much to suggest they should be a part of a contending team of the future. Lee,Nate,Chandler, could potential be a nice trio to round out a bench some day but there have been times this season when you even have to question that.

I still say if two of the three are required to jettison Curry and Jeffries you strongly consider it.

I think Harrington, Lee, Duhon, Nate, and Chandler are critical to the team. Everyone else could be replaced with Development League players and our record would not be much different.

all but harrington. i just don't see him here past 2010.

what i can imagine is a combo of james & (bosh, wade, or amare) plus what we already have in nate, lee, chandler, gallo. plus our picks, maybe jennings and jordan. everything else is fodder.

We don't have one top ten vote recipient. In other words, none of our players are among the SIXTY most popular in the league.
