I hear ya...but it's not about today with this team. If anything this is a further weeding out process. Anyone who quits against the Wolves before the game even tips off does not deserve to wear the Orange and Blue.

Unfortunately...that means the entire team. Nate and Lee included so far which is a surprise but even those guys are still just going through the motions.

Have they given up after the moral victories ran dry after the Laker game? Maybe. Are trade winds blowing that we don't hear? Likely.

Either way, again, this is a weeding out process, and a game like tonight's weeds out EVERYONE.

And that's just what it is, Greek, nothing more. So much for Walsh's "We want to remain competitive" but that was just lip service. We're tearing the team down and we're now short handed as a result. No worries, soon Curry will take the court, and we all pray MikeD makes him look good enough to get his fat ass traded for 2010s.

Are you falling from the moon or what?
This group is alredy done much more that expected this year.
I will be surprised if more that one or two players from current roster will be around in 2 years. And if you are looking for miracles go to the curcus to see magician show.

Wait a second a week agao this was becoming the greatest show on earth according to you. I guess the number 2010 can be used as a scape goat but unless Lebron James miraculously walks through the door--we'll still be terrible. No rebounds no defense no reward.

What? According to me what? Don't mince words here. All I said is they were playing like a team and they liked playing with one another - UNLIKE the Crawful/Zachass show. And, they were, but that's apparently worn thin on their spoiled multi-million-dollar-asses.

I never said this ragtag bunch was headed for greatness.... they just seemed to like being underdogs and liked fighting together - but... that's since past. Which is fine it's a further weeding out process. Can't listen to the coach and can't handle a little adversity? Fine, good riddance.

When we win it's because our coach knows just what buttons to push and our players understand his system playing great all around games. When we lose we should find comfort knowing our coach isn't the worst defensive coach in the NBA and the players are only here temporarily.

It's the same spin cycle we've been through the past few seasons, the only difference we're one yr closer to 2010 with different bodies running the show. Any gm and coach not name Isiah could have accomplished what we've seen thus far.

It really isn't the same thing as in years past. You have a coach in place who has provided structure and a system. You have a guy who has destroyed locker rooms in the past not allowed to be a part of a team instead of getting the opportunity to ruin the chemistry on and off the court. You have a president who has a plan for the future and is following it. I do not agree with a coach who doesn't emphasize defense but I still see huge improvements in the team with structure and a system. I do not think that a plan that involves trading away talent in the hopes of acquiring better talent is a sound plan but it is a plan and the team is sticking to it. Things have changed alot for the better. I would not sweat this loss.

I don't mind the losses, in fact I love the losses because it gets us closer to an even better lottery pick, although I don't trust the people making the pick after they drafted Il Busto. I do mind that these players are still clueless on defense, that they won't or can't pick it up on defense when they need to and that it doesn't look as if fundamentals on defense are being stressed at all by the coaching staff.
If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

it's probably easier to take if you look at the knicks as a very bad expansion team...

The Knicks are not going to go to far without a post presence and an intimidator in the middle. Its tiring to watch a bunch of small forwards trying to man up against legit centers. It borderline comical. As much as I hate to say it but Eddy Curry is needed for the knicks to win games. How he comes back to play well who knows either he comes committed or he doesn't. I'm praying he comes committed and ready to do big things for the Knicks.

You cannot continue to rely on a three point shot to keep the team in the games. Its basically a crap shoot and the game can go anyway but chances are the Knicks lose more than win since they are a team without great shooters.

Its laughable to watch Lee play defense this guy parts like the red sea and basically stays parted. You would think he would collapse on the defender once in a while.

Expansion Bowl come Tuesday is what you're saying?

Actually if the LB led Bobcats win their next 2 gms, against New Jersey then against us they move ahead in the standings. Ironically they are 4-3 since making their trade and are playing better defense. LB strikes again! They were considering possibly moving Wallace or Kaman in a 3 team trade with Warriors or Clips but opted to trade with Phx to get players who play defense and better in the half court.

Once they gave the season up by trading Crawford and Randolph--they should now go all the way with it. Trade off everything they can for younger prospects and picks through the next few seasons and start from scratch. David Lee--gone Duhon--gone anyone other than Gallinari and Chandler[the two salary restricted players] should be shopped around for a full blown rebuilding. Were due to get that number 1 pick. I wish somehow we could get the first pick[griffin] and acquire a high enough pick to grab Thabeet or Mullens and start over with a PF and C in place.

Oh yeah Dantoni only wants guys who dont play in the paint or play D

The Knicks won 23 games last year. They were not that good. They traded away their two best players to get cap space. They are on schedule to win 10 games more than the previous year despite all of the transitions. Losing alot should not be a surprise. When you add two players, Chris Duhon and an injured rookie, you cannot expect a huge jump in the win column.

This team scks. Do 20 point drubbings by Milwaukee and Minnesota at home say anything--who cares if we win 10-20-30--we sck. In this league youd rather sck worse it's to your benefit--most of these players will not be part of the team going forward--this team needs a final flush--wins do not matter any more--losses are what will help this franchise.

I was beginning to worry we'd make the playoffs this year.

We got to get Gallo his minutes and develop him.

We are like no. 8 in lotto. We got to fall.

Im not saying tank, but play the utes and let them grow.

Bottom line? These Knicks need help...the rotation is too tight and the guys not playing don't even deserve to be in the league.

Donnie wtf bro? did you find a deal you like yet?
