I believe Dirk and Yao are also FA's and while extremely high profile are not talked about much in relation to Wade, Bosh, Amare and Lebron.

You could probably build a team from that list:

Rajon Rondo G Boston RFA
Al Horford C/PF RFA
Rudy Gay not really talked about RFA
Mike Miller UFA
Tyson Chandler PO
Branden Roy RFA

I'd rather have almost anyone on that list than Zach or Jamal

Rudy Gay could be an even better signing than Amare.

How about all 3 could just as easily go to NY and that would make a lot more sense for Lebron--He loves the Yankees, loves NY, and wants to become the wealthiest man in the world (goodluck achieving that in Miami or Ohio!)

Florida lacks a personal income tax, which allows lebron to keep more of his salary. Texas as well, and I remember reading that that does impact thinking for players.

Chandler is still very young and would be a nice piece..

T-mac's back and knees will be completely shot by then..

Gay and Aldridge might be nice complimentary pieces...

Roy is a pipe dream, the blazers will match anything short of a billion dollars...

We Knicks fans are like a bunch of homeless junkies, looking in the windows of the Palace with Christmas Party in fool swing, and hoping that guards will throw some candies on the snow.
We need something which we will build ourselves; something which will grow in front of our eyes.
LeBron will always be a Cavalier and Nash always a Sun.
What we have here in NY? Nothing...
Time to stop looking for somebody to come and save, and start building something which can be our own.

the Knicks would not be the first to look towards ready made NBA stars to vault their teams to success & they won't be the last... plenty of great teams were created by other means than by building up solely through the draft... fans always say they wanna draft the guy to build around & yet many of those same fans believe that tanking a season to get a high draft pick is never the right option (not saying u're necessarily 1 of them, unless of course u are)... it takes a combination of all 3 factors, smart draft picks, smart trades & smart FA signings, to put together a championship calibre team... & even then u still need some luck & some lucky bounces to fall ur way to get there.

Wow did Lebron re-sign? Did I miss something? Did Chris Bosh re-sign? Or Nash or Stoudamire?

Cleveland is playing great and Lebron mentioned he would consider it. His buddy CC Sebathia might have considered it too. Its 2 years in the future, just chill out and be happy we have salary cap flexibility in 2 years.
