Someone help me out. All I ever see on this board is Lee is a horrible offensive player on this board with no skill. Wilson Chandler is an all star in the making and is a offensive dynamo. They are both averaging 14.3 points per game and Lee is shooting 55% to Wilson 43. Wilson shoots 31% from the three which is below average. Wilson needs someone to get him shots most of the time. Since Zach left Lee is getting 17 points a game or even more. What other players in the league with no offensive skills is doing that. I would much rather know every night I am getting 14 points on 10 shots than getting 8 points or 28 from Chandler. I know the argument is going to be Chandler is a second year player. Lee averaged a double-double his second year.
That's deep, bro. I think people focus too much on Lee's offensive 'shortcomings', but as you point out, he is anything but offensively challenged. I think the reason is that some people can't relate to the manner in which he gets his points, but that's on them. Get over it. This guy gets his, his way, and if it doesn't fit your mold, why are you here? Does D'Antoni fit your mold? No, I don't think he fits any mold as a coach in this league, and yet, it works. Give it a shot before you knock it.
I pray to God almighty and send a hello to all the Buddhamonks in the place that we keep Lee, he is a contributor and a symbol, he's been through thick and thin and delivered, what a mind-set this cat has. He is our Zydrunas, a defining element of our championship puzzle.
DONNIE DON"T TRADE LEE, HE IS THE 2000s VERSION OF STARKS AND OAKLEY COMBINED.
