#1 he makes good subs and his lineups are pretty logical. (god its been a while since I have been able to say that)

#2 he is ACTIVE on the sidelines, passionate and emotional.

#3 he is always optimistic, says all the things you want to hear in the post game conference... After a tough loss I always fast forward immediately on my DVR to his post game interview and it always somehow makes me feel better lol

#4 He runs plays... When was the last time we actually ran plays ..??? and they were EFFECTIVE???

#5 he gives our guys CONFIDENCE and has raised the trade values of almost every player who has played this year.

#6 we are watchable

#7 I can root for this team, they play hard

#8 I have 8 things to appreciate about the KNicks and counting!

#9 He looks like the Pringles guy.

Cheers to Mike D, I hope he is our Coach for a long time to come.. Would love to see him, Lee, Nate n the gang celebrating on the MSG floor a championship one day.... My fav coach since Pat Riley/JVG!

Absolutely nothing about defense on your list. And calling for them to "push it" on offense is not a play.

we have played better defense this year than any Knick team since Jeff Van Gundy was here, especailly altely and given our personal (no shotblocker)

If you think the only play he runs is "push it" then lol you are not paying attention

I've actually been meaning to post a thread about Coach of Year, and what Knicks/MDA need to do to win it.

He's got to be a front runner, same for Walsh- even though we killed him for some of his moves, getting Al for Craw and moving Zach were brilliant moves.

MDA's awesome. He really is. The biggest positive is that guys want to come play for the guy. That's huge for us and should play a big factor in 2010 when it's free agent time!
