We cannot continue with this small ass lineup so my qurestion is this... do u prefer to start jeffries at center. When he comes back or let's say eddy curry gets in DECENT shape and can give you 15 and 7... who would u rather get the minutes? I hate currys game but we are desperate for some size rightnow

Both, then trade Curry when he's regained some value.

Curry... Jefferies should never see any more than 15 mpg regardless of where he's playing in the rotation.

Curry's career high is 7 rebounds per game. He will never match that again.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Curry will be the starting center for the knicks. As of now, trainers are trying to get him in shape so when he's ready to play, knicks will be able to showcase him.

This is what I hope also. I think if we can get something out of him and add Jeffries to the defensive part of our game, then it will be a plus. When you think of it, we are 7-7 without a center and a lot of defense. It gives you a perspective as to what we might be right now if we were a more well rounded team.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Definitely Curry on every possible way you can analyze it. But mostly to get him outta here in a good package. But I wonder when will he play. He has to hurry up getting in shape!

The Knicks need Curry badly. His size is a must for the Knicks. Everyone is so down on Curry for being out of shape and coming into camp like he just doesn't care. But lets be honest here for a second Curry is needed more than ever for the Knicks and he needs to start seeing court time to clog the middle up. He may not block shots but his size still clogs the middle up and opponents right now are man handling the Knicks with ease in the paint. They made Ben Wallace look like a great player again. The lack of size must be dealt with quickly.

The question is where is Curry and Gallo for that matter not a mention of their names lately in the papers.

I agree that it needs to be Curry. A Curry pick is much more effective than a Fugazy or Jeffries pick. I also think Curry will have a career rebounding year in Mike D's system if he can get on the court.

Curry needs to play he lead the league in points in the paint one year didn't he. He also lead the league or was leader in dunks too. He shoots a high percentage and that might help the Knicks on the defensive end because they miss a hell of a lot of shots. Leading the Knicks to get out rebounded nightly.

What I want to know is, is Curry prascticing and if not when is he going to? Where is Tommy Dee he should know whats going with this situation.

Why do I get the feeling that the pre-season excitment over Jefferies was D'Antoni's way of beefing up his value for a trade.

We are the NY Meat Markets -- send us your players that are worth less then nothing and we will beef up their value and trade them for nothing.

Curry. Trade. Jeffries. If Curry can do 15 points 7 rbds I would be very happy. If he can get his motor running he could get major points in this system.

Id rather he retired tomorrow though.

Jeffries. No question. Curry is worth 16 points to the oppo just by being on the court.

Both of those guys can add a little depth and size to the line up. I'm looking forward to the return of both and hopefully some consistent play after the allstar break.

I'd rather get value for him. If he can go back to average 15/7 we will find a good deal for him.

Because for some reason you let yourself have hope. You should not allow that to happen again.

What about option 3: The lucky Knickfan that wins the "center for a day" contest at halftime of the next game.
