that is Catino Mobleys stat line from the last game he played Nov 19... This guy aint bad... He might not be the scorer Jamal is..But hes similar to Q-Rich in that he can have big games, and he'll be very solid on defense.. hes a much better defender than Jamal. He can hit the 3 and he'll get some steals.. He's not bad

He is gonna be a good fit in this system. He's a good perimeter defender that creates turnovers and can stroke the 3.

DO NOT expect him to score as much as Jamal though. His ship has sailed as a 20 pt scorer years ago.

The trades gave the team a lot more balance and brought in 3 players who are D'Antoni fits. This team will definitely not be laying down.

If he can bring consistency to the 2 spot he is already an improvement. He can score less than 20 but if he does it consistently we will be fine.

When Nate is your 3 guard, you can get less that 20 from your 2. Nate will make it up and more.

i have a feeling you guys that used to rag on Jamal all the time are gonna start to appreciate what Jamal brought to this team when they see that none of the guys we have will be able to create their own shot the way he could when all else breaks down in the execution of a play.

that said, i think Mobley will be a much improved version of Anthony Roberson... he'll spot up for the open J & actually hit them, & give u a little defense on the side... he's a heady player & a good addition to this team.

Chandler can do that, too. So can Harrington. That said, the idea in the D'Antoni O is to hit the open man and not worry about creating your own shot.

Dude's old... used to be good. He'll probably be like Eddie Jones a few years ago, when he was well past his prime, wasn't good, just serviceable. What was the Clips record with him? Even with those numbers, Mobley's efficiency numbers are C R A P. Jamal was average. This guy is well below average. Obviously the team will be better with him than without him, but he's not going to be good, great, grand, or wonderful.

Nate, Chandler and Harrington can all create their own shot very well.. even TT and Mobley can create their own shot... give guys some credit crawford was good at times but he was not the only scorer on this team

he can penetrate into the lane & get to the line, but he can't take his man off the dribble, stop & pop like Jamal used to do, no way... Jamal had the length, the handle & the quickness to be a terror to defend 1 on 1... Nate's got the handle & the quickness but he's too short & guys can get back on D easier using their length on him... trust me, Jamal is gonna be missed when we're down in crunchtime & we need a go to take over the game offensively the way he could.

i completely disagree... Chandler gets most of his points spotting up for open J's, getting quick midrange jumpers running off screens, or by posting up, not by taking guys off the dribble & he definitely doesn't have the handle or quickness to beat a double team on the perimeter.

Harrington is either a jack it up 3 guy or he'll post u up downlow, & he's got the same limitations on his game that Wilson Chandler does... trust me, either Mobley or Nate are gonna be looked upon in those situations to score, & neither of them are gonna be able to hit the shots that Jamal did in those situations.

& no matter what MDA's system predicates, there's a lot of times u just gotta improvise & run an iso play, especially in crunchtime.

when was that shot taken? u'r telling me if Nate had the ball in that situation late in a closely contested game, that there wouldn't be a guy rotating over to cover for Paul's man on defense & patrolling the lane? u just proved my point here w/that clip, Nate's very good at penetrating into the lane but he's not a stop & pop shooter the way Jamal was.

Dude did you watch the game last night? That was the crucial shot in the game. That was about 3 mins to go and Wash had been making its run. That gave us a 4 pt lead and allowed us to pull away.

The important thing is 'to not rely on one person to do all the offense for us. It's a team effort. The 'me' crowd is being kicked from the building and it shows.
I'll never trust this' team again.

i am giving guys credit... where do u see me bashing on anyone here? nothing i've said is unreasonable here... i'm just telling u like it was, when this team was down & we needed some offense, more often than not who was looked upon to provide that offense? Jamal... & why was that? because he was the most able to get a basket by creating his own shot.
