I not only want Lebron, but I want Bosh also. How bout it?

How do we get Curry into shape and get him to put up some numbers so we can ship his ass out of here?

And more important 'for the now' does this move help our defense?? I know we still have fire power, but does it?
I'll never trust this' team again.

I want a PG. Lebron + CP3 and a couple of rebounding stiffs in the front court.
Think 90's Bulls or Pistons.

i say package Curry & Lee for an expiring C & as high a 1st round pick as we can get our hands on... that frees up money to offer both Lebron & Bosh contracts in 2010 & we'll be better off in terms of the draft this year also... having 2 picks in the draft u can always try to trade up if there's a player u really want, or u can just hold onto those picks & take a couple kids who can help this franchise down the road... D Lee's skillset can be easily replaced... we should look to use him as a trade chip now while we still can.

Yes you can. I think we have the best shot at LeBron if we can convince another superstar to play for us too. Trade Curry and we are in that position.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Assuming the Knicks can trade Curry (that "if" is bigger than Fatty's tits), they could make a run at two. And considering how LBJ and Wade played in the Olympics, and how playing alongside each other could impact each of their legacy, that's probably how the Knicks should go.

I mean you could go for Bosh or Amare or whoever else, but I think the way to get either of them to come is to mention how they could both become even more marketable. I think if both could get to NY, both would have a hard time turning down how they'd go down in NBA history on its biggest stage. I don't think that matters as much to the other players.

so much for all the "we'll never be able to attract a Lebron to NY" talk... we're now 1 move away from making that scenario a very realistic possibility.

i don't think Bosh would want to be a second banana to Lebron. I don't know, it's interesting to think what combinations of players would work. Amare and Wade would be pretty nice. Bosh and Wade?

the important thing now is to draft a real stud in the draft, get rid of Curry and maybe move Lee for a 2009 pick.

I think we could get an expiring for Curry straight up. For like Mark Blount or Larry Hughes

With Lee we could try to package him with Jefferies for an expiring possibly Sacarmento or Orlando,

Why is it that Stoudamire is never high in the 2010 conversation? If the Knicks can get a second piece he would be the one I want.

I think it's pretty clear to Lebron by now that the Knicks have the money and that his name has been the main focus by the media and fan alike. We'll know by after this year, because he cannot talk of such things right now. And there is the possibility also that his team could make the finals (pray they don't) and reconsider what he said earlier.

I know, it's always an uphill battle, but we can do it and we can wait. We all gotta go through this ****' to get better. Believe me, it's for the best in the long run.
I'll never trust this' team again.

excellent call on Hughes... i was thinking about him the other day, he's reportedly not happy in his role in CHI... he'd be a great pickup w/a big expiring contract to boot... i doubt Curry or Fugazy would appeal to CHI tho.

I still want to know if we got better on defense here? Anyone really know?

As many here, I do believe that D'Antoni can still win many games with this team, just as much as he could've with Crawford, Randolph and Collins.

BUT, now that rebuilding is in full motion, I want them to win JUST enough to have a chance at a high draft pick. Since Master Isiah traded 2010's pick, we have to make the most with this year's.

I think its gonna be LeBron, Amare and Nash. We may be able to get Nash for a mid-level.

we might at that... like i said, there's a ton of options & NY's gonna be an attractive option for these guys, especially if they get together themselves & start talking about possibilities like how Monta Ellis, Elton Brand & Baron Davis were talking about before Monta injured himself.

I wouldn't be shocked if those Suns guys want to follow Mike D here. Especially Nash at the end of his career I think would take less money. Lebron/Amare would be a lethal duo and now we finally can even think about that possibility. What a day.
