I have a feeling it's going to be pretty awkward the next 2 seasons with LeBron. I mean it's pretty obvious what's going on...

However, Walsh proved brilliant today. Although I wanted a first rounder back in any Crawford deal, he did rid us of 2 large contracts and got back some nice players whose contracts end in 2010.

me neither, but what I love is we didnt sacrifice anything in the process of giving us a chance. Remember during the draft people wanted to trade down to pick 20 and such if we could just dump Zach.

if things work out then believe me, things will look a lot better than u might think in 2010... imagine if we end up w/2 nice talents out of the draft this year... a kid like Jennings, Thabeet, Griffin or Mullens to put alongside Lebron, & another pick w/which u can take a nice role player like a Budinger or Patterson... put that alongside an improved Wilson Chandler, a hopefully healthy Gallinari & the topper of them all, another stud like Amare Stoudamire??? come on dude, it sounds like a pipedream now but in a year u'r gonna start to appreciate just how big these trades were & all the possibilities we just got opened up to us.

we were gonna trade down to 16, not 20... & we still could have ended up w/Speights, McGee, Hickson or Arthur rather than Gallo... how would that have been so bad of a tradeoff?

Yeah, you beat me to it. Looking at it that way, not making that trade hurt us. Plus if you could have gotten the Clips 2nd rounder, they could have drafted CDR.

Lebron & Wade... Lebron & Dirk... Joe Johnson & Bosh... Wade & Amare... a ton of options have just opened up for us if we can just unload 1 more bad contract (Curry)... this is what u call being proactive... Donnie Walsh said a big F*U to all the people who wanna contend this year w/a flawed roster cuz he knows this team wasn't gonna win jack squat... he's got bigger things on his mind for the future, & right now that future looks pretty bright w/some big names who we'll finally be able to target for a change... now that he's dumped Zach & Jamal's contracts, all that's left to do is dump Curry & make sure he drafts well this season.
