tms, i know this post is about jokes...but, i gotta be honest...
can we maybe think about not using so much homophobic language here? someone on this forum probably identifies as gay, lesbian, bi, tansgender...just statistically speaking. sorry, i just think it's much easier to say the kind of stuff we're talking about when you aren't the butt of the joke. why is calling someone a "homo" or "gay" in this so-called modern world, still, a joking insult? we have a person of color as president, finally, but we still can't see people who identify as lgbt as equal, and have to use their sexual orientation as a joke for our own pleasure? sorry, it is disappointing to see how little progress so many straight men have made on this issue. i can't really blame most straight men for constantly using being gay as a joke because of this, but that's easy for me to say since i don't identify as gay. lgbt rights is probably the most glaring violation of civil rights that our so-called "free" country doesn't grant humans. sorry, i just think it's wrong. i even suggest that some women, and male's in support of feminist ideas, may also think this we engage in a lot of highly hetero-sexist behavior here too. peace and respect.
