y'all need to post the articles like this for lazy cacas like me:
NBA Trade Rumor: Eddy Curry For Shawn Marion

By Aron Phillips
Shawn MarionThe Matrix would be dangerous in New York

According to the NY Daily News, the Heat and Spurs are interested in Eddy Curry. Why? I couldn’t tell you. But if the Knicks can get back anything of value – ranging from a bag of potato chips to a new member of their dance squad – they’ll make out like bandits.

Talk about value, the Heat may be willing to trade D’Antoni favorite Shawn Marion, but a potential deal is intially complicated because of unequal salaries. I’ll say it now - if the Knicks add The Matrix to their roster and only have to give up Curry, they could be a surprisingly dangerous ball club.

Yea I know this thing is BS, but it gives me some type of hope that Mr Curry might be traded. If you scroll down, the kids there talk about Steph for Marion straight up, which works out capwise. Marion's numbers are falling and the Heat can get a starting point for a year, both contracts fall off the books next year.

We'll need to sign Marion to long term money. Marion hasn't shown himself to be a franchise player. I thought you were dead-set against deals like this?

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

I thought this really might be a possibility over the summer.

Miami plays more of a halfcourt game, so Curry would not slow them down. If they trade Marion, they can move Beasley to SF and put Curry at center. It has some logic, but I really don't see why Miami would do the deal. They can try and sign Boozer this summer. All in all, I think this rumor is pure BS, and I know the Spurs don't want Curry.

i wouldn't do no S&T's for Marion if that's what ur asking... he's got an expiring deal, which is what i'm more interested in... plus he's a much better player... i'm just saying if he wants to increase his value playing in a system he's completely comfortable in, he might be open to coming to NY for a year.

not that the trade i proposed has any shot obviously... i don't see why MIA would take on Curry's longterm dollars for Marion.

Marion for Curry and Rose works..... or it should work(i'm not checking).

You look at the Heat and it's clear that they want to win now because they don't want Wade to walk on them. And the spurs with out 70 percent of the teams scoring pretty much has them looking like the Bobcats circa 2006. I could see both of these half court teams taking a chance on Curry.

if they wanna win now wouldn't it make more sense to just keep Marion & sign him to an extension? they can't possibly think they can turn a Wade/Curry combo into what they had in Wade/Shaq, can they?

I wouldn't be surprised. Riley has GUSHED over Curry on a few occasions in the past. I think he's pretty high on Curry. He might be high on cocaine too.

my guess is that D Lee has to be involved in any trades for MIA to even think about taking on Curry's contract...

Curry, Lee & Malik for Marion would fit under the cap & probably a more equitable trade off in talent.

i wouldn't mind seeing this roster for this season at least & to have the added bonus of Curry's longterm dollars being taken off the cap... i actually think that team could make the playoffs this year & u'r actually clearing cap for 2010 in the process:

C - Zach / Fishlips
PF - Marion / Gallo
SF - Chandler / Ewing Jr.
SG - Jamal / Q Rich
PG - Duhon / Nate / Mardy

Marion would be great.. only problem is we'd have to resign him.. or let him go... if we resign him we cant get under for 2010.. if we let him go.. we basically lose DLEE for nothing?

If u can do it without DLEE.. why not

They Have Beasely and Halsem, no way they want Lee and Curry. If you look at Marions play from last year to now, you can see that the Heat really aren't getting the "Pippen" they thought they would have in Marion. I don't know if they really want to trade Marion for Curry( they might want to dump Blount and filler on us), but no way they want Lee. They have two versions of the undersized power forward already.

Wasn't it Mike D who made comments in his book about how Marion was a little too sensitive.. I remember seeing an interview where the Suns were actually a little PO'd that possibly too much info was revealed.

Why would you do that to me it seems that Miami is the desperate one here. Not the Knicks I would give the Heat Jerome James and Curry for Marion. Its fair a deal.

I think incuding Lee in this deal is a bit too much on our end. Especially for a player who they probably dont have any intentions on resigning. Curry is a useful player in the post which is what they need and he fits better than Marion does who is a full court player. Riley is the kind of egomaniac who probably believes he can get through to Curry.

Curry and Malik should be more than enough...not sure about salary though. Might need to incude Mardy. Or I would do Marbury straight up for Marion. One expiring for the next.
