Jermain O'Neal was mentioned by Larry Bird as possibly traded.

I think He is telling Jermaine that if he is so unhappy he could get moved, but it would have to be a good trade.

What one sided Knick offering "could" the team provide in reality?

If Dice is completely healthy for over a 2 year time frame, I think Bird would be intrigued by a combination of Dice+Milos. And he would accept nothing less.

Right now i think we could do a MCDYESS, SWEETNEY & MILOS for O'NEAL......... Why ?? MCDYESS can still be great or just great cap room, SWEETNEY can play & is cheap & most of all, they want a great PG, MILOS fits that bill. ( we can't miss what we never had )
What does DICK CHANEY & DON CHANEY have in common ?? They both accidentally fell into a job they don't deserve & really suck at doing it !!!! Both need to be fired !!!

He's going to be a base compensation player with a maximum contract.
#1 if you think they are actually even considering trading Oneal you are nuts.
#2 we could not trade for him for atleast 2 years because of his contract situation
#3 We dont have what they would ever want even in fantsay terms.

I would like to concentrate on the realistic --like getting rid of 1 PF before the season starts and bringing in a young 2 G back up with upside i.e Dion Glover.

How was O,neal out of line? He told them he would signed long term only if Zeke was the head coach errr well they lied to him so he has the right to ask for a trade . Someone else can pay him 126 million.

BRIGGS, he could be traded after DEC 15th because he just signed his contract, just like SWEETNEY. Its just fantasy conversation bro. But the afore mentioned deal would satisfy both teams especially if MCDYESS can show signs of life before the feb deadline.

Well this is real fantasy because he is a base year compensation player with a maximum contract. Im not going to explain it, but go look up how complicated it is to trade a player with that status.

larry bird is a ass but to win you got to be a azz sometimes, larry was out of line not jermaine save the corporate bull , isiah is the guy that gave jermaine a chance to make 126 million in the nba, jermaine was two steps away from the rucker tourney, bird used isiah to get jermaine signed. but hey this the nba and jermaine gotta know this. larry you want to trade him, ok under the cba you can get Houston straight up for him, i will do that, you dont want Houston? then shut the f up you aint trading oneal he is 6 11 can score and rebound at will, there arent a lot of guys like that in the world so shut the hell up

Yeah that happens sometimes... Try it again in 15 minutes or so and you should be able to connect. Sometimes going back and clicking on another link works too.

Oneal should be loyal not to thomas but Donnie Walsh whom was smart enough to trade for him and put him with a mentor like Thomas.

Thomas is still being paid 5 mil for not coaching this year.

Thomas and o'neal should buy Walsh any rolex and a Maybach with love.

I think Bird is telling o;neal to get real.

I posted the question seeing the world revolves around the knicks who can come up with the most interesting trade Idea.

And I agree with you 100%, bird did use oneal so IMO he had the right to voice his opinion, but when carlilse does not lead that team out of the first round who will bird scape goat then.. He said isiah didn't develop Croshere..LOL.. Croshere is hurt as much as camby, and if he think what isaih did for Oneal not development than bird has lost his mind!!!

laden back wards, good point, same goes for phil jackson and any thing he ever did. great trade by Walsh, but Bird tell oneal to get real?? i dunno about that, who is bird any more...lets not get nostalgic. oneal is making 122 mill he is 6 11, he can run, score and rebound. I would of never given him 122 million i think he is overpaid ,but he iant no J.Howard. he is athletic. but looking at his size, skills and salary (three s's) how is bird getting a trade with equal value. Bird needs to get real.

I hope they miss the playoffs, I can't see them being better with losing Miller who was huge for them and Pollard is basically a a hustle player/scrub..... I don't think carlilse is that much better than isaih, but we will see...
