the undeserving fans of philly are having their little parade today and probably will show the hardware at the game tonight with some phillies players attending. let's stop this celebration and kick the tar out of philly ( though this is hopeful thinking because I don't think it will happen tonight ). HATE philly fans with a passion!

i'm guessing this is the game thread.

i watched the raptors play philly wednesday. brand's timing is slightly off and was hesitant (alot of pump fakes) down low - but that could be a byproduct of jermaine + bosh there. the sixers are rebounding machines but can't shoot worth a lick. how the raps were able to beat them was clog the middle with their two bigs and force philly to shoot instead of driving and getting in the lane. they miss alot of perimeter jumpers so they will be active on the offensive boards.

but coming off a loss on wednesday combined with the knicks lack of defense, i think philly will put on a better showing, get into the lane at will and win the game.

This game can be too long for them.

They can run with the Knicks. If Philly doesnt catch fire from deep the Knicks should still win. They are gonna kill the Knicks in the paint. But the Knicks will be open regardless of what Philly does.

Knicks by 5

I predicted a 5-0 start with this game being my only real worry. Hope they win it, starting off 2-0 will give them confidence.

We might lose this one. The Heat had 0 low post scoring so it didnt expose the fact that we had 0 blocks in the game. If we do not get a block in this 76ers game (inspired by Phillies win and recent loss) this game might get ugly.

If you arent going to play Steph why wouldnt you activate Roberson and put Steph in a suit?

Perhaps having Steph available in the event of foul trouble, injuries etc... is more valuable than Roberson.

this way steph has to stick around the locker room and answer reporters questions while changing. If he in suit, he could split.
